Writing on behalf of my husband as I booked it: My brother, dad, and I were gifted an incredible inshore fishing adventure, a surprise from our amazing wives and mom, and it was hands down one of the best presents ever! We booked with Randy Filla, and from the get-go, we knew we were in for a fantastic time. The morning started off a little slow, which is just part of fishing. But even with the slow start, Randy was an absolute blast. His personality was infectious, filled with hilarious stories and a wealth of fishing knowledge. He kept us entertained and engaged, making the initial lull feel like a fun part of the overall experience. Then, the fishing gods smiled upon us! About two hours in, Randy put us right on top of schools of redfish and black drum. It was like a light switch flipped, and the action was non-stop! We were pulling in fish two and three at a time, with bent rods and screaming reels. The excitement was palpable, and the smiles on our faces were huge. Adding to the thrill, a pod of dolphins showed up, playfully stalking the fish we were releasing. It was an amazing spectacle, witnessing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat while we were reeling in our catches. We ended the day with our limit of both redfish and black drum, a testament to Randy's expertise and the sheer abundance of fish in the area. But more than the impressive catch, it was the incredible bonding experience with my brother and dad that made this trip truly unforgettable. We shared laughs, fished together, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Randy Filla provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. Captain Randy had to work hard to find the fish today. No wind and water that looked like glass meant the Red bite was off. He finialy suggested we move to trout and we managed to limit out on trout with one lone red fish. The captain never gave up and we ended the trip with fish in the cooler and a great day on the water. I highly recommend Captian Randy Fillabite he will do his absolute best to get you on fish.

Randy was the best! A very knowlegable guide with a lifetime of fishing Aransas waters. Terrific bost that is very easy to fish out of. But put that all aside, Randy was all about making sure we all had a great time. Fun to talk to and be around. A very good kind man with a big heart.

My son and I have used Captain Randy before. He is a knowledgeable Captain. He got us on our fish right away, and we caught our limit. Then we still had time to go look for some big ones. It was a great day and he made sure we got our fish.

Randy was a great guide and a pleasure to fish with. My wife and I both caught trout and redfish and got to mark that off our lists, plus we have some good meals at home to look forward to! Randy is fun, very knowledgeable and a great teacher. We absolutely enjoyed our morning and would do it again.
