SeaPlay Sportfishing is located in Galveston and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. You’ll be fishing with experienced Captain Anthony Hancock who’ll take you on a fun and exciting jetty-based trip to many different species in the Gulf of Mexico.

Capt. Anthony will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Shark, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, big game fishing, and drift fishing.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 25’ Pro-Line boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Great trip

We caught tons of fish. The captain even took us thinking it was going to rain. Told us if we couldn't handle it he would bring us back. Took us to catch some sea trout first. Then I requested to catch some sharks. He put us in some really good spots to get exactly what we wanted. Captain was very knowledgeable and friendly. He cleaned the fish and put them in a bag for us to take home. Me and the wife had and awesome time.

Had a great time! Captain was great! Informative, funny, and didn’t let the trip get boring at all. As someone who just moved to Houston and wanting to learn how to fish the salt water, he was willing to answer all my questions and explain why we were doing what we were doing. I would recommend to anybody!

Our captain was Pedro! He was awesome. He took us to catch bait fish which our boys loved. Then we tried a couple of spot and caught lady fish and croakers. Then he put us on sharks with the bait we caught. 8 sharks. We kept 3, he cleaned them, bagged them and sent them home with us. It was awesome.

This was probably one of the most fun experiences we’ve had. We took our 8 year old and 10 year old, and Captain Richard was SO great with them. We caught some massive black drums, sheepshead and a bonnet head shark. A few other smaller fish I don’t remember. We went first thing in the morning so the sunrise over the ocean while we fished was beautiful too. 10/10 recommendation, well definitely book again in the future.

Great trip with tons of catching unfortunately mostly bait fish. We did get two keeper Specs. And used the bait fish for some sharks and a sting ray. Great captain who kept our lines in the water. Highly recommend
