Captain Mendez and his mate were to notch and we had an awesome morning fishing trip! My son wrestled and landed a very large Jack and my husband caught a Rooster! Plus we pulled up several snapper and grouper - 11 fish in total! Captain Mendez knows where are the good spots, and took fun pictures and videos along the way. Highlight of our trip! Do this when visiting the area. We stayed in Playa Hermosa and pick up was right on the beach

Captain Mendez picked us up right at 6:30am on the beach and we were off! Within 10 minutes of having our lines in the water, we doubled up on two giant rooster fish! After trolling some more we went off shore a bit and go into a school of red snapper which were great for cooking. They had all sorts of snacks, drinks and great tunes. Highly recommend captain Mendez and his crew. We will absolutely book them the next time we are in Costa Rica!

We booked the half-day fishing trip with Captain Mendez and we asked for bottom fishing. We had a great fishing trip and he brought us to at least 10 different spots for fishing. Within a relatively short amount of time we caught around 20 fish, mostly snapper and grouper. The captain and crew worked hard to get us fish and were friendly. We really enjoyed our fishing trip with Captain Mendez and would highly recommend him for a fishing trip.

Capt. Mendez and crew put us our ladies fishing team on fish and fun. We raised 3 sailfish and brought in a nice bull mahi. we had a great time and had a plenty of fresh mahi to share with our friends and family. Go with them - they are reasonably priced and will put you on fish!

Captain Juan and the first mate were great.  They had everything ready to go and put us in position to catch fish.  We had a few bites throughout the day and were able to hook up and release a sailfish towards the end of the trip.  I’m glad I booked with them on our vacation.
