What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Marquette, Michigan for the first time?

If you take the stream trout fishing trip, be prepared to hike through very rugged, hazardous terrain and very slippery, hazardous rocky rushing streams. If you have any disabilities / physical limitations make sure to let Mike know ahead of time!

Don’t be afraid to book a catch and release trip. Memories and photos of your trip can last a lifetime- the filets may only last for a meal. :)

Dress in layers. Michigan has unpredictable weather. Be open minded and listen to captain’s expertise/knowledge of local areas/wildlife to make the most of your trip.
