What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Richmond, California for the first time?

Halibut can be spotty if you book a trip late in October(if you only do a half day, full day trips will be better for halibut) but captain Sean will make sure you have a great time and catch fish either way

Don’t be the dummy who thinks shorts and a tank top is a good idea. Check the weather and dress appropriately. Bring a styrofoam cooler with dry ice at the bottom and ice on top of the dry ice to leave in the car. Gallon size ziplock bags, paper towels, hand soap with pumice (ie: Fast Orange), and a change of clothes for afterwards are a good idea, too.

Charter Addictive fishing if you want the very best fishing overall fishing experience. It ain’t cheap but my experience far exceeded my expectations. Bring warm layers - this is a quick boat, and a beanie!

Plan for all possible weather conditions. Wear layers as the wind picks up in the afternoon. Sunglasses and a neck gator are a must. Wear waterproof or rubber shoes. Your feet will get wet at some point.

Make sure you have warm clothes on. Take something for motion sickness because the water is VERY choppy.
