What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora for the first time?

Fishing was great, be aware of the length of the trip affects the fish you can get to. If you want the larger fish you must book the full day trips.

Didn't know about slacktied and high tide difference and it was a high tide. Was told to go on slack tide which I will keep in mind now.

Tell your Captain EXACTLY what kind of fishing experience you want. Otherwise, they can putter around the Bay and just catch basic fish. Not a high skill level. Croakers are everywhere.
