What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Winter Haven, Florida for the first time?

The Best Western Plus Inn was a very nice place to stay and close to everything we needed it to be close to. We would also highly recommend Harry's Old Place restaurant located on the West side of Ned Lake. A day trip to the Bok Tower Garden in Lake Wales is a must see wonder of the World and lunch at their Blue Palmetto Cafe was A+

This was a great trip filled with not only many fish but big ones too. It is definitely a good trip that I would recommend to anglers wanting to fish the area for the first time.

Choose Captain Bill, he made it very easy for me to fish, didn't have to bait my hook and answered all my novice questions.

The summer is the not the greatest time to bass fish. Captain Scott said the best times are October Into early spring.

Tell the guide EXACTLY what you expect. Then ask if he be candid and honest in his answer.

Have a guide that knows the area. They know what is biting and what bait to use.
