Climb aboard their 21’ long boat, manufactured by Norpower. She’s powered by a SAAB engine, with 22 HP propelling her across the lake. A full set of navigation and safety equipment is on board, your safety is a primary concern. Additionally, downriggers are present to extend your reach when trolling these gorgeous waters. ‘Lucy Lures’ provides this charter with bespoke lures and rigs, specifically designed for fishing Loch Ness.

Captain Stuart will be your guide and assistant on this excellent fishing journey. He’s an avid angler and proficient in many fishing techniques, which he’ll gladly teach you. You will have the chance to do spinning, popping, and drift fishing. Also, you will do trolling and fly fishing. Heavy and light tackle is available, with light spinning lures being hand-made by Capt. Stuart especially for fishing this lake. Be careful of the bite, you never know what may gobble up your bait in this lake.

Four rods are permitted at any one time – the rest of the party can relax and take in the breathtaking scenery that is Loch Ness!

There’s no minimum age for children on board and the charter provides all life jackets – parents must be present with their children though. Snacks can be arranged for an extra fee. Trips get underway on the Caledonian Canal at Dochgarroch which is the pathway to Loch Ness.
