Fin Chaser Sportfishing is de maatstaf voor kwaliteit in New Jersey. Met 20 opeenvolgende seizoenen ervaring en topprestaties bij toernooien in het hele noordoosten, hebben deze jongens de ervaring, de vaardigheden en de kan-doen mentaliteit om u op die vis van uw leven te krijgen.
Vertrekkend vanuit South Amboy, NJ, bent u perfect gepositioneerd om te genieten van geweldig vissen zowel inshore als op open zee. Inshore trips duren vier tot zes uur en richten zich op het vissen in de baaien, inhamen en wrakken nabij de kust op Gestreepte Zeebaars, Blauwbaars, Amerikaanse Bot, Tautog en meer.
Ga naar open zee en het is een compleet ander verhaal. U zult naar de beste visplekken in de omgeving racen om Voshaaien, Witte Marlijn, Blauwvintonijn en Geelvintonijn, Goudmakreel en verschillende andere diepzee-sterren te vangen.
Schipper Frank Wagenhoffer is niet het type man dat stopt met vissen wanneer de beet goed is. Als Tonijn het oppervlaktewater laat koken bij de Hudson Canyon, blijft hij graag langer uit om u op een recordbreker te krijgen. Hetzelfde geldt voor brandstof verbruiken. Andere schippers minderen misschien vaart bij de 60-mijlsgrens, maar schipper Frank gaat nog eens de helft verder als daar de beste beet is.
Vanaf het moment dat u aan boord stapt van schipper Frank's 36' Contender Fisharound, weet u dat hij serieus is. All-Raymarine elektronica doorzoekt de diepte terwijl outriggers en downriggers uw lijnen ver en breed verspreiden om uw vangst te maximaliseren. Dit alles terwijl uw schipper en eerste maat elk soort materiaal onder de zon voorbereiden.
Het Fin Chaser Sportfishing team heeft de beste uitrusting op de markt om u de beste ervaring te geven, of u nu aan het trollen, jiggen, poppen, spinvissen, driftvissen of vissen met levend aas bent – noem het maar op, ze hebben het aan boord.

October Fishing Trip

Captain Frank and Ryan were great guys to go fishing with. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My brothers and I had a great time with them. Frank got us on the fish and we all enjoyed bringing the fish on the boat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a charter. I look forward to booking with Captain Frank again.

Afternoon Striped Bass Charter on Fin Chaser

What a day ! First off, Captain Frank and his mate Tim are the most competent team I have ever fished with. Also the most courteous. I'm 71 years old, balance not what it once was, but Tim kept a close eye on me and kept me from falling overboard. If your a little older, the Fin Chaser will serve you very well.
And what Fishing ! ! We had about 30 striped bass, all between 10 abd 25 lbs, all on flutter spoons. We kept our limit and Tim filleted them expertly. Both my brother and I had to take Alleve the following morning, we were so sore from fighting those fish. From now on, the Fin Chaser with Capt. Frank is our go to charter.

Another Great Trip

This is the second year in a row we used Fin Chasers and we caught a ton of fish on both trips. Captain Frank knows what he is doing. We went the day after some windy and rainy weather and thought this could affect the fishing, but we crushed them anyway. We will be making annual striper trips with Fin Chasers.

I took my family of four (me, my wife and two college age kids) with Capt. Frank and 1st Mate Jason for a pm charter on a warm weekend day. Capt. Frank greeted us and promised that we would have a good time. The boat was clean, well kept, stocked with refreshments and powerful on the water. Immediately we noticed that both Capt. Frank and Jason were absolutely possessed to put us on fish.The Capt. was constantly updating his information on possible good fishing spots. Once the captain picked our first of many fishing spots It was not long before my son was reeling in the first catch of the day under the watchful eyes of the crew who never hesitated to give us the assistance and encouragement we needed as beginners. We all caught nice size stripers and my daughter reeled in the largest one of the group and we all left very happy with our 1st experience with charter boat fishing. If you want an experienced captain with a great sense of humor, Fin Chaser Charters is the way to go!
