Massachusetts’s coast is home to excellent fishing, which is especially true for Cape Cod Bay. Lady J. Sportfishing knows this is true and uses this bountiful location to its fullest, taking their customers out to enjoy an exciting fishing adventure!

Join them on board their 38’ sportfishing vessel, manufactured by Harris Sportfish, way back in 1987. She’s been recently restored (in 2016) so you’ve got the combination of all the modern amenities an angler can expect with a tried-and-tested boat. She can hold up to 6 anglers in comfort, all fishing at the same time. The engine behind her is a massive Detroit diesel, providing 550 HP of thrust.

Your guide and instructor on this journey will be Captain Philip Caliri. He’ll be right there as you tackle a variety of exciting fish such as the huge Striped Bass, Bluefish, Blue, Mako, Thresher, and Porbeagle Sharks, as well as the famous Blackfin and Bluefin Tuna. The techniques you’ll be utilizing are spinning, popping, jigging, and trolling, while using light tackle – the fight is much more rewarding that way.

All required equipment is provided by the captain. There is no minimum age for children with Lady J. Sportfishing, the charter provides vests in all sizes. There’s a first mate on board who will assist you and clean and fillet your catch, though he works for tips so gratuity is appreciated. Fishing licenses are included, so all you should bring are polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, adequate clothing, and a good can-do attitude!
