Uw schipper belooft u een vistrip van uw leven aan boord van zijn 36' Chris Craft vaartuig. Ze is een klassieker en werkelijk een schoonheid, met dubbele 330 PK Chevy Vortec motoren. De boot werd in 2009 gerenoveerd voor maximaal comfort en kan een kruissnelheid van wel 24 knopen bereiken.
Twee dingen zijn zeker — Kapt. James weet hoe hij een vis in uw handen krijgt en een grote glimlach op uw gezicht! Hij maakt er niet alleen zijn prioriteit van dat u een geweldige tijd heeft, maar hij is ook een expert in het vangen van Forel en Zalm.
Test uw lijnen door te vissen op Coho Zalm en Chinook Zalm in de lente en zomer, maar wees gerust, uw schipper kent alle beste visplekken.
Als de herfst nadert, ga dan op pad en verbeter uw vaardigheden in het vangen van Forel — Amerikaanse Meerforel zal vooral bijten.
Boek een 6 uur durende trip op Zalm en Forel wanneer u die extra tijd op het water wilt en het niet erg vindt om thuis te komen met een koelbox vol heerlijkheden. Nog een geweldig voordeel — de schipper fileert en maakt uw vangst graag schoon, direct daar op de boot.
Bent u net begonnen als visser? Kapt. James zal u alles leren wat u moet doen, en wat het beste is, u zult het geweldig vinden om te leren. De eerste maat zal ook bij elke stap assisteren en instrueren, dus 20% fooi wordt zeer gewaardeerd.
Op zoek naar een onvergetelijk familie-uitje? Long Gone 3 is de charter waar u moet zijn! Er is meer dan genoeg ruimte op de boot voor de kleintjes om hun allereerste vis te vangen en daarna wat uit te rusten wanneer de opwinding te vermoeiend wordt.
Al het materiaal staat voor u klaar, inclusief eersteklas hengels en Acuma molens. U hoeft alleen maar te denken aan snacks, drankjes en zonnebrandcrème voor de trip.

My family and I booked Long Gone 3 Charters to celebrate my father’s 60th birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Even with the wave swells generating 3, and the occasional 4 foot wave, Captain Jim kept us safe and on the fish for the entire duration of the charter. Our group took out 6 guests and every single person on board caught their limit of Coho Salmon. If you’re looking for a charter near the Chicago area, there’s no other captain I’ll be booking in the future other than Long Gone 3 Charters.

We were on the 5 am excursion, and we were blessed with a beautiful day. Captain Jim called the water " glassy bubbles". One benefit of the early time is getting to see the sunrise on Lake Michigan! As soon as we dropped lines we were catching salmon! They stopped biting and we started catching lake trout. We were newbies to lake fishing, so we greatly appreciated the tips from Captain Jim and Dillon. Captain Jim is jovial, and it is fun to be on his boat. Dillon cleaned and filleted all of the fish for us. We received a message the night before our trip that the weather looked great with a picture of the place where we were going to meet. I recommend they include information about what to bring such as water and breakfast snacks if you want them. Also, the boat has coolers, so you don't need to bring your coolers on the boat. I would definitely recommend Captain Jim to friends and family!

Captain Jim and first mate Dillan were better than we could have imagined. The family had such a great time and they can’t stop talking about how much fun it was. We caught 15 fish and had a hard time carrying all the fillets. We are mounting one of the fish as well. We caught an 18lb Lake trout and hit our limits. Jim and Dillan made the whole experience so enjoyable. They were funny and made our kids feel very comfortable on their first trip. Thanks guys, we will be back again!

Had a great morning with Captain Jim. We were on the salmon early and often. Not only did my 13 year old enjoy himself, but I can't remember the last time he had this much fun without being on an electronic device. On the ride home he said he wants to go again, but not so early. The 3:30 wake up call was a bit rough on him. Thanks agin ti Jim and Dillon for a great day on the water.
