Als je het hele jaar door wilt vissen op verschillende soorten vis op verschillende locaties, dan is Fred Gowdy Charters iets voor jou. Schipper Fred Gowdy heeft meer dan 15 jaar ervaring en organiseert trips zowel nabij de kust als inshore.
Je brengt je dag door op een 2015 20' Carolina Skiff JVX. Deze schoonheden staan bekend om hun kwaliteit en stijl, en bieden comfortabel plaats aan 3 vissers. Dus neem je vrienden, partner of zelfs kinderen ouder dan 7 jaar mee.
De 90 PK motor brengt je in een mum van tijd bij de vis. Gecombineerd met de fishfinder en de uitgebreide kennis van het gebied van schipper Fred, heb je je lijnen in het water en haak je je doelwit vis voordat je het weet.
Elke trip gaat naar verschillende visgronden, dus je doelwit soorten zullen variëren. Schipper Fred weet waar hij moet gaan om te vissen op Batjauwvis, Redfish, Grijze Zeebaars (Grijze Snapper), Tandbaars, Paardmakreel, Baars, Grote Barracuda, Zwartpunthaai en nog veel meer. Kies gewoon je soort en de bijpassende trip.
Zelfs Tarpon kan hier het hele jaar door gevangen worden. Deze 'Silver Kings' breken de lijn in meer dan 60% van de gevallen. Dit is een geweldige kans om je vaardigheden te testen en te zien wie er bovenaan eindigt – jij of de Tarpon!
Schipper Fred vangt graag levend aas voor de trip, of wacht tot klanten het samen vangen. Of je nu de extra tijd wilt vissen, of de toegevoegde ervaring van het vangen van je eigen levend aas, laat het schipper Fred gewoon voor de trip weten. Voor sommige soorten die alleen garnalen als aas nodig hebben, is het niet nodig om er meer te vangen tijdens de dag.
Voor degenen met meer ervaring ben je welkom om je eigen vliegvisuitrusting mee te nemen. Voor alle anderen is het standaard licht materiaal allemaal inbegrepen. Je hoeft je geen zorgen te maken over je hengels, molens, kunstaas of levend aas – schipper Fred heeft alles voor je voorbereid voor je visavontuur.
Hij kan niet wachten om je aan boord te verwelkomen en kijkt ernaar uit om je een geweldige tijd op het water te bezorgen.

Fabulous trip!

I booked this trip for my dad (81) and daughter (21) and they both had a terrific time. My dad was impressed with how much effort Captain Fred put into the trip, moving to spots where they had great success catching fish. He is knowledgeable, personal and helpful. My daughter loved the whole experience and both said would book Captain Fred again in a heartbeat. It was definitely a memory-maker! Also, Captain Fred expertly filleted their trout and they took it to The Fish House in Bonita Springs where they were able to have it prepared for lunch! It was delicious! Fabulous trip!

We took this charter since we had a morning to kill and love to fish. Captain Fred was absolutely amazing, communication was excellent and he was as friendly as could be. Additionally, he was extremely knowledgeable about the species in the water and how to go about catching them. We hit multiple honey-holes, caught multiple species of fish, and even though the time of year we were fishing in the bites can be few and far between we saw a lot of action. I couldn’t recommend Captain Fred and any of his charters any more!

Took my 17yoa grandson and his girlfriend who are visiting me from California for a morning fishing trip with Captain Gowdy. Was prompt at the dock, and provided ample guidance and direction for 3 novice fishermen. Put us on the fish in first hole and we had a wonderful time, even in the extreme heat of Florida summers. Would chatter again if the opportunity arises. Teens loved the experience and we all caught fish (snapper), which we ate that afternoon.

The mark of a great captain, making a trip fun even if the fishing is slow. We caught snook, redfish, jacks and snapper. So to me it was a very successful trip, but it seems like the whole fleet struggled. Fred worked his butt off to find the fish covering miles of water. He gave us great instruction, and helped whenever it was needed. Fred is definitely a pro at pulling lures out of the trees we casted into! Will definitely book again
