Hop on board Capt. Bob’s 31’ Blackfin boat that was beautifully restored in 2018. This vessel has twin 370 HP Volvo Penta engines and full navigational equipment. Couple this with fishfinder and Capt. Bob’s extensive knowledge of the area and you are sure to be on top of the fish all day long.

No matter what the weather is doing, you’ll have a comfortable ride on this boat. There is also a comfortable cabin with a private head, kitchen, and fridge. Even when Lake Erie is rough, Sandusky Bay can usually be fished.

Depending on which trip you choose, you’ll target Walleye or Yellow Perch. The limit for Perch this season is 30 of any size and 6 of Walleye, of at least 15 inches in length. The captain will make sure you are keeping to the state limits on the day.

The fish will be caught by a variety of methods. Trolling is the main method used, but you can also request to try jigging, popping, and drift fishing if you wish.

Everyone is welcome on board – there is no minimum age, and life vests are provided. Kids on these trips will have some great stories to tell their friends back at school! The trips are unavailable during winter, but Capt. Bob is there for you every day May-Oct.

Food and drinks are not included, but you are welcome to bring your own cooler of refreshments along. The captain can also prepare that for you at an additional cost, just let him know beforehand. If you need accommodation for your fishing trip, Capt. Bob also operates a 3-bedroom boathouse available to stay in via the Stay and Play option.

The boat can fit a party of 4 adults, but also 4 adults and 2 kids.

You will need to purchase a valid Ohio fishing license and make sure you sign it, and you will need a cooler to take your haul home in.
