You’ll fish from a fully rigged Nitro Z18 bass boat powered by a 150 HP Mercury outboard, equipped with top-quality rods, reels, and tackle. Capt. Ander will match the gear and approach to your goals—whether that means refining your skills with finesse presentations, learning seasonal patterns, or just keeping rods bent all day long.

Bassquatch Fishing runs trips on many of the Austin-area’s best bass lakes, including Lake Austin, Travis, Buchanan, Stillhouse Hollow, Belton, and more. The main targets are Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass—hard-fighting fish that make every outing exciting.

All fishing equipment and bottled water are provided. You’re welcome to bring your own rods if you prefer, but most clients enjoy trying Capt. Ander’s setups designed for local conditions. Catch and release is encouraged, though you may keep fish within state regulations (please plan ahead for cleaning and transporting your catch, as those services are not provided).
