Zoals schipper Gabriel Alcaraz graag zegt: 'Vissen is 50% geluk en 50% passie.' Zijn Super Panga Tres Estrellas heeft geluk. Het enige dat ontbreekt is jouw passie!
Schipper Gabriel organiseert de trips met zijn zoon en oom. De bemanning bestaat uit tweetalige professionals die net zo graag vis willen vangen als jij. Schipper Gabriel beheerst de wateren van Puerto Vallarta al 2 decennia. Zijn professionele repertoire omvat de Banderas Bay en de productieve visgronden op open zee.
De lokale wateren bevatten het hele jaar door grote aantallen vis, hoewel sommige soorten het beste bijten tijdens bepaalde maanden. Je kunt alles vangen, van Roostervis, Paardmakreel, Gevlekte Koningsmakreel, Snapper en Tandbaars tot Goudmakreel, Zeilvis, Marlijn, Wahoo, Tonijn en zelfs Geep.
Je boot voor de dag is een 27' center console panga, gebouwd in 2011. Ze wordt aangedreven door twee 60 PK Yamaha-motoren en is uitgerust met een drilstoel, snorkeluitrusting, eersteklas materiaal en moderne elektronica, samen met tonijnbuizen en een koelbox.
Vang enkele van 's werelds meest gewilde pelagische vissen met je vismaatjes of combineer vissen en snorkelen als je een familie-uitje plant. Een dag met Super Panga Tres Estrellas is meer dan alleen vissen. Het landschap is adembenemend, met vogels en walvissen als regelmatige bezoekers. De zeebodem is gevuld met zee-egels en zeesterren – wat vooral spannend is voor degenen die een duik willen nemen in deze rijke wateren.
Alle trips zijn inclusief het gebruik van snorkeluitrusting en visuitrusting van Penn International en Shimano. Je krijgt ook fluorocarbon voorlijnen, aas en kunstaas, evenals vergunningen en een gratis visschoonmaakservice. Het enige wat je hoeft te doen is komen opdagen!

Really awesome trip

It's uncommon to find an excursion in PV that in the end feels worth the money, this felt well worth it! Had we booked in a better time of year/ earlier in the day I'm confident we would have caught some fish. We still had an awesome boat ride certainly the nicer of the boats vs all the other ones on the water. The captains Angel and Charlie were super friendly and awesome with my kid. If they offer to take you to the beach and snorkelling, definitely go!

Great charter with lots of experience
Full Day Trip – Offshore on February 11, 2026 • 2 adults
We just did a 8 hour trip today and the crew put us on the fish immediately. We scored a mix of bonita and skip jack tuna which is the main target species during this time of year. The boat was comfortable with many spots to sit if its a smaller group. I would not recommend any more than 4 anglers though. We did mix of trolling, gigging, and top water poppers which was fun to switch things up. What i liked the most is that they will let you take 100% control of dropping and reeling the rods. For example, i was dropping a trolling mad mac and got hit on the drop and finished it all the way in. ill be back

One Of A Kind Adventure!

i booked this trip as a suprise for my husband and it could not have gone better! The crew was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable on the boat.
we had a lucky day and quickly caught 2 jack fish and a tuna while jigging. later on while trolling we caught a mahi mahi! Our captain Angel took us to a beach restaurant that cooked our fresh catches for us in a variety of ways and it was delicious!
As a bonus, we also spotted dolphins and humpback whales during the fishing portion; and a sting ray when we snorkeled!
Overall, Angel was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The whole crew was friendly and upbeat which made the whole day a lasting memory!
My husband is already planning his next trip back with these guys!

Pros: They met us at a different doc and explained how to get there. We had Angel and Carlos as our captains. We caught 4 fish right out of the bay. They asked us what we were wanting to catch. They took us snorkeling to break up the trip and that helped with the kids being a bit bored with fishing. They had a plan to catch some mahi-mahi and they seemed to find a school of them, but there were no bites.
Cons: I think we were under the impression Gabriel would be our captain but he handed the boat off to his son and helper who were still great. We didn't catch any mahi-mahi, but that's not always in anybody's control.
Overall great 4 hour trip. They were willing to adjust and pivot as we requested was really the best part.

Tres Estrellas is a 5-star fishing experience!
Half Day Trip (AM) on October 13, 2025 • 4 adults
We did a half-day trip but wish we’d done a whole day the time flies by. Gabriel was recommended but we ended up going with his son Angel. Everything was GREAT. We caught 4 Skipjacks pretty quickly, saw a mahi we couldn’t get to hook then caught a bigger mahi right after and probably would have caught more but ran out of time. When we came in, all the other Tres Estrellas boats had fish. Angel filleted our fish for us and showed us where yo bring it to cook and eat. It was 250mex for a full meal of cooked fish with veggies, beans, etc. Such a great experience! Go with Tres Estrellas.
