Schipper Ezekiel 'Zeek' Cruz heeft een echte passie voor lesgeven en doet regelmatig vrijwilligerswerk bij lokale jeugdvisevenementen terwijl hij maandelijks visklassen voor kinderen organiseert. Schipper Zeek heeft duizenden tonijnen van meer dan 200 pond gevangen, samen met talloze andere trofeeënvissen — waaronder het helpen vangen van een voormalig Californisch staatsrecord van 520 pond zwaardvis. Voorafgaand aan elke trip ontvang je een visrapport en een kort telefoontje om de verwachtingen af te stemmen, wat de best mogelijke dag op het water garandeert.
Schipper Ezekiel 'Zeek' Cruz vist al in de wateren van San Diego sinds hij een hengel kon vasthouden. Hij begon op 10-jarige leeftijd op vissersboten te werken, werd op 14-jarige leeftijd betaalde dekknecht en behaalde zijn schippersvergunning op 20-jarige leeftijd. Our half-day trip with Capt Zeek and Boundless Boat Charters was awesome!! Zeek asked us what we wanted to go for, and he put us on 'em right away. Probably had our first fish in the boat within 2 minutes of getting to the spot, and the action never stopped. At one point we landed 4 at the same time 🎣🎣🎣🎣 Went home with probably 15 lbs of whitefish, also caught a ton of rockfish and an absolute hawg of a sheephead - probably 15 lbs (the day before season opened of course - so he went back). We have been on several charters all around the country and this has been the best by far! We can't wait to fish with Capt Zeek again this summer for yellowtail, bluefin, mahi mahi and whatever else he can find. We highly recommend Boundless Boat Charters!

A Perfect, Easy Day

This trip was a mom and her two sons. We had never been sea fiaing before but my sons love to fish. We were traveling and so Zeke’s set up was perfect. all equipment, bait etc provided. Zeke baited evrything, helped when things got tangled, took pictures for us, processed the fish etc. He is knowledgeable, entertaining and attentive. it made for a easy and perfect day. And we caught a lot of fish.

we are new to ocean fishing and captain Zeke was amazing!! had all of our equipment covered and taught us everything we needed to know. we were pulling in big wish within 30 seconds of our bait hitting the bottom. he knew all the best spots to hit fish, everyone hit their limits and he's a great guy! we had a great time and I can't wait to come back for Tuna season!

Zeek was an excellent guide for our day trip on the water. He communicated effectively and answered all our questions about booking. He also knew all the best fishing spots and was knowledgeable about different types of fish and bait. We found what they were biting amd had great success. I highly recommend a day trip with Captain Zeek.

My 13-year-old daughter and I had a fantastic time, especially since we’re total beginners. Captain Ezekiel was so kind and helpful, guiding us until we caught about 20 fish! They were incredibly fresh, and we’re already planning our next trip.
