An Oregon native, Capt. Don has been fishing these waters his whole life, running charters for over 15 years. He knows every twist and turn of the local rivers and knows all the sweet spots offshore. Let him take you up to 20 miles offshore to discover some thrilling fishing.

Aboard his 28’ Alumaweld Formula Vee aluminum sport fishing vessel, you’ll have everything you need for a productive day on the water. Powered by a 300 HP Mercury Verado engine, you’ll reach speeds of up to 40 knots as you chase after the exciting fish. When you hit the sweet spots, you can use the downriggers and outriggers to troll, while the livewell will keep your bait fresh.

Go after some thrilling Salmon, monster Halibut, and delicious Lingcod, among many more bottom fish. Head up to 20 miles offshore as you troll for Coho and Chinook Salmon. While you’ll stay nearshore, up to 5 miles out, as you bottom fish for Lingcod and more. Get ready for some heavy lifting as you battle it out with these beasts, trying your best to take home plenty of delicious creatures to fill the fridge.

At the end of the trip, your captain will clean and prepare your catch, so you’re ready to cook it up right away. All you need to do is bring some snacks and drinks aboard and make the most of your time on the water. Capt. Don will pick you up from Newport or head off from Depoe Bay, just let him know what’s easiest.
