Fish for Salmon and Trout in the most productive waters of the southern shore of Lake Ontario. SunMoon Adventures is here to make it happen! Captain Kenneth Ruszkiewicz, the owner and the guide of this charter brings all of his experience and passion into each trip.

Capt. Kenneth welcomes you on “The SunMoon,” a 28’ Tiara boat. This vessel is powered by twin 270 HP inboard engines and accommodates up to 4 guests. There’s a new enclosure to get you out of the weather if it turns bad. The boat also features a private toilet, downriggers, safety equipment, and navigational electronics.

Your main targets for the day will be Steelhead, Brown and Lake Trout, as well as different types of Salmon (Coho, Chinook, Atlantic). The main technique you’ll use is trolling. Fish can be released back but that’s not always recommended due to temperature and pressure difference.

Capt. Kenneth understands that this is a one-shot deal that means a lot to you and your group, so he’ll give 100% to make this a memorable trip. This is your trip and it’s up to you how involved you want to be in the fishing process.

Excellent job... I booked this trip over a month in advance. I talked to Ken via phone (he called me back within a half hour of my msg.) I told him I was bringing my 10 yr old daughter and I wanted her to catch some fish. He assured me he will do everything he could. I met him at the boat on schedule, my daughter was still in truck, he immediately said to me "where is that 10 year old girl who wants to catch some fish?" (Great intro). My daughter had her first fish (brown) in less than 20 minutes. The morning was slow. He tried/worked at everything he could think of. I was a little discouraged. He said I am going to catch some fish. We finally started hitting fish at what I thought would be time to return, but he kept going. I caught a beautiful king salmon and we ended up catching our limit. His mate entertained my daughter and taught her all kinds of cool stuff... I would rate my experience A++++.

Beautiful boat with a great captain! Fishing was slow for everyone on the lake and captain busted his hump to give us the best trip possible. He put us on the fish for the entire trip, but just one of those days only a few wanted to bite. I’ve fished all over the country and this captain put in more effort than any other I’ve fished with. Great trip great weather with a few fish and had a great time with the captain. If the schedules line up I would recommend this trip to anyone and will be fishing on this boat again.
