Golden Fly Fishing will create a very special week for you. Enjoy the private and friendly ambiance at their colonial-rural style lodge in the small, charming town of Paso de la Patria. A unique accommodation, with personalized service and capacity for 8 people, gourmet food, and lodging within rustic, elegant interiors.

You will have the opportunity to achieve the freshwater Grand Slam by catching the three most voracious species of Argentina: Golden Dorado, Pacú, and Pirá Pytá. Come face to face with the “Tiger of the River,” known to suddenly jump 3 feet in the air, showing his teeth before diving back into the river and busting your reel with his aggression.

The captains of Golden Fly Fishing are dedicated to the preservation of local fish and wildlife in the Paraná River. For this reason, all fishing with them is catch and release.

So, how do you get to this heaven on Earth? One of the captains will pick you up from the airport or bus station, free of charge. You’ll be staying in their custom lodge and will be delighted by their fine regional cuisine and dishes of Italian ancestry, paired with wines from Argentina. All rooms have double beds, air conditioning, and a fully equipped bathroom. The package includes 3 meals a day, snacks, and fruits. All areas have Wi-Fi.

You will be fishing in 17ft boat with a capacity for 2 anglers. You can book a solo trip or share the experience with another fellow angler. Bigger parties will stay in the lodge together and will be split in groups of 2 people per boat when fishing.

Fishing is split into 2 parts. You’ll start each day early in the morning, at 6:30 a.m. and stop at 11:30 a.m. You’ll then continue after lunch from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that fly fishing equipment is not included in the price, so you need to bring your own, or rent it at the lodge.
