we recently moved to MN and this was our first trip on superior. couldnt ask for a better captain and boat for your fishing adventures on Superior. Highly Recommend!

My wife and I booked a morning charter with Captain Brad of Action Fishing Charters. It was our first experience out on Superior and we were excited to be out there. The weather cooperated and we met Captain Brad at his boat just before 6AM. He had given us directions where to meet and they were accurate and easy to follow. Captain Brad talked us through the safety features of the boat and what to do and what not to do at different times while on our trip. We got under way and motored out to the area where the Captain wanted to start. He gave us instruction on the fishing gear for planner boards and down rigger (the two methods we used while trolling). Captain Brad was real thorough about what to do when there was a fish on. Soon, we had our first fish...a Lake Trout. A lot of fun getting it in the net and then the cooler. Captain Brad is a very knowledgeable guy (not just about fishing either) and easy to talk to...we engaged in relaxed conversation throughout the trip. He gave us some history and knowledge on a number of the large ships we came across during our trip...pretty fascinating stuff. In all we caught 6 Lake Trout and 2 Coho...we were real happy to be taking some high quality protein back home from the trip. Each fish that came into the boat my wife and I were excited about and Captain Brad was right there celebrating. At the end of the trip, Captain Brad cleaned and bagged up the fish for us to take home...it doesn't get any easier. I would highly recommend a trip with Action Fishing Charters for anyone considering it...I know Captain Brad will be my first choice when I am back in the Duluth area.

My 10 year old son and I spent the afternoon catching walleye with Captain Brad. We had an amazing time! Five star experience from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about the Capain, the boat, and the experience. Captain Brad was really patient with my son and answered his endless questions with palpable energy and detailed responses. The boat was super clean, everything was in working order, and the gadgets on board gave us detailed information about everything we needed to know. Captain Brad even cleaned our catch before we left! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks again, Captain Brad!

A party of 6. Plenty of room for all. Started off hot, landed first fish before Captain Brad could get all Lines out! Get The Net landed the the most fish of any other charter out at that time. Captain Brad was very knowledgeable and a he'llof lot of fun. Get the Net is a top notch boat. After sharing our experiences with friends and coworkers, we might need a second boat for next year, maby his friend Josh?
