When it comes down to the finest deep sea blue waters and all the angling opportunities, Fishing Guide Capt Tom Hinterschied is your best choice. Battle monster Swordfish far out from shore or stay close to the coast and get your hands on whatever is in season and biting.
If you decide to book a trip during the summer months, you will be able to enjoy the warm waters and calm seas. You will begin your adventure nearshore, targeting Tuna and Kingfish. As the season progresses, you will be moving further out for Mahi Mahi.
Come fall and you will be able to hit the reefs for a mixed bag of Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Cobia, Kingfish, and Sailfish. The winter months are also all about the reefs and whatever patrols those prolific waters.
And if you are looking to fight with Pelagics, spring is your time. Bringing home a cooler full of amazing catches brings a smile to any angler’s face!
All of that magic happens aboard a 27’ Conch center console. Built back in 2000 and fully overhauled in 2015, the boat is fully rigged with top-notch electronics and powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha engines. It can get you to the fishing grounds in a matter of minutes so that you could begin the reel-screaming action as soon as possible.
The trips with Capt. Tom are all-inclusive; all you have to do is just bring your own food with you.

Nos encontramos con Tom en el embarcadero,eramos 3 adultos y 1 niña de 10 años.
Tom fué muy amable y paciente con nosotros. Nos enseñó sus técnicas de pesca.
Se vé un hombre que sabe mucho del mar y de la pesca, es muy calmado y te da mucha confianza.
Tom es un gran capitán, un gran pescador, buen profesional, amable y atento.
Salimos a las 7h AM a coger pez pequeño para utilizarlo como sebo y antes de las 8h AM ya teníamos una barracuda enorme. Pescamos 4 barracudas y 1 Amberjack.
Su barca era super cómoda .
después cuando llegamos nos fileteó el Amberjack y nos lo llevamos a casa, fué buenísimo.
Nos gustó muchísimo
muchísimas gracias Tom!!!! Volveremos seguro

An enjoyable day of fishing!
Full Day Trip - Deep Sea Fishing on June 22, 2025 • 5 adults
We had a nice day out on the boat with Captain Tom. Although we didn't get a lot of bites, we did manage to pull in a big blackfin tuna and two kingfish, one large and one medium. Had a few other bites that didn't end up making it into the boat, and a couple that did but were not keepers, and despite there not being a lot of action, we had a good time. The captain was easy to work with, and explained how to kite fish (a new one for us), as well as providing tips on how to properly reel in a big fish without snapping the line.
The only comment I would have is that despite there being sufficient rods, we only ever had four lines in the water at a time, even though there were five of us on the boat. I didn't question the captain about this and just assumed that with his many years of experience, he knew what was best.

We went out, caught some live bait right off the bat. 20 minutes after getting lines dropped down had a big bite but bit passed the leader before we could react. It took some time but we got on some fish. Ended up catching a Barracuda, Mahi-Mahi and 2 King Fish. I definitely plan on booking again with Captain Tom and recommending him to friends that want to go on a charter. Thanks Captain Tom!

Half Day Trip – Shark on April 12, 2025 • 2 adults
My 14 year old son really wanted to catch a shark and also a fish that we could cook. With fishing you can do your best and sometimes just not catch anything. Having an experienced Captain will give you the best chance at catching. Captain Tom was able to have him catch both ! A King fish which he cleaned for us to be able to take home for lunch and a shark! Would recommend. (Captain Tom was punctual, experienced , responded promptly when I had a question before the charter, the boat was clean , no cons that I can say).
