Sluit je aan bij Tara Anne Sport Fishing voor een exclusief avontuur en maak je klaar om de boot van de schipper vol te laden met veel vis! Je gids voor de dag, Captain Joe Lyons, vist al meer dan 45 jaar in de wateren voor de kust van Wildwood, NJ en is al 27 jaar actief als gids. Zijn charterservice is ontworpen voor alle soorten vissers, van beginners tot experts, en nodigt kinderen van alle leeftijden uit om mee te doen aan het plezier.
Je vaartuig voor de dag is een 30' Island Hopper stuurhut, aangedreven door een 330 PK Cummins-motor. Ze is uitgerust met alle benodigde veiligheidsuitrusting en eersteklas apparatuur en elektronica om een succesvolle en veilige tocht te garanderen. Binnen vind je een privétoilet en een ruime zithoek om te ontspannen. Ze heeft ook een Bluetooth-radio zodat je naar je favoriete nummers kunt luisteren terwijl je vist.
De Atlantische wateren voor de kust van Wildwood zitten vol met een grote verscheidenheid aan vis. Capt. Joe neemt je mee om te trollen op soorten zoals Gevlekte Koningsmakreel, Blauwbaars, Bonito en Gestreepte Zeebaars, en meer. Je hebt ook de mogelijkheid om te bodemvissen op Amerikaanse Bot, Grijze Trekkervis, Tautog, Trommelvis en Zwarte Zeebaars.
Je krijgt ultramoderne Penn-uitrusting, evenals hoogwaardige kunstaas en levend aas. Je visvergunning is ook inbegrepen, dus kom gewoon 15 minuten van tevoren aan en de rest wordt voor je geregeld.
Na je trip biedt de bemanning ook aan om je vangst schoon te maken en te fileren, zodat je naar huis kunt gaan en kunt genieten van een lekkere hartige maaltijd met het gezin. Alles is inbegrepen, dus je hoeft alleen maar snacks en drankjes mee te nemen en eventuele andere persoonlijke spullen die je nodig hebt voor de tocht.

Didn’t see dolphins ;) - but caught some sharks!!

What could have been a mediocre day was anything but that! Just before our scheduled arrival, Capt Nick let us know the morning trip hadn’t yielded much and the water conditions were less than perfect - he left it up to us whether we’d like to do the trip or not. We decided to roll the dice and go for it - and we’re happy we did!
Capt Nick and Brian were both personable and knowledgable - answering all the questions we asked and sharing some great stories along the way - we even got to share a great dolphin story we heard.
Onto the fishing! With no guarantees and the warning that morning run wasn’t very fruitful, we prepared ourselves to not catch much. But we sat out there enjoying the water and sharing some laughs until, suddenly, we got a bite!
There were three of us on the trip and we each had the opportunity to reel in a shark. I’m no expert at all - but they were saying each one was probably around 150 - 200 pounds!
We had an absolutely wonderful day on the water and each of us now has a new and exciting fishing story to tell our friends - with pictures to prove it!
Highly recommend - 5 stars - would do this again!

We had the absolute best time with Captain Nick and First Mate Joey on their vessel the Tara Anne Sportfishing! From the moment we got on the boat, Captain Nick and Joey made us feel completely at ease—they were so kind, knowledgeable, and calming, especially for those of us who were a little nervous since it was our first time. Both were patient, explained everything clearly, and made the trip fun and relaxed from start to finish.
Our group included two teenagers and two adults, and we all had an absolute blast. We caught bluefish and Spanish mackerel, and Captain Nick and Joey made sure we understood how to handle everything safely. They also pointed out things about the area and the fish, making it a great learning experience too.
The communication was excellent, the atmosphere was light and fun, and we always felt safe and taken care of. To top it all off, the fish we caught tasted amazing once we cooked them up. The whole experience exceeded our expectations—it was better than we could have imagined and definitely a memory we’ll cherish.
Highly recommend Tara Anne Sportfishing. The experience is perfect for both first-timers and seasoned anglers. We can’t wait to go again!

We had an incredible time on our fishing trip, The captain and first mate were excellent, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories. They kept us entertained with stories, scenery, wildlife sightings, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. They encouraged us to be as hands-on as we wanted, which we really appreciated. A fantastic experience from start to finish! Highly recommend. We were a family of 5 two adults and 3 kids ages ranging from 5-13.

Amazing Fishing Trip

Thanks to captain Nick and first mate brian for the amazing trip. They are very knowledgeable and make fishing a breeze. They got us on fish fast and we had a blast catching them. I have been out on a lot of boats over the years in wildwood nj. The Tara Anne is by far the best I’ve been on. They got us on the fish and did not hesitate to try another location or strategy when the bite slowed down. Do yourself a favor and book them today. My family and I will be back!!
