De prachtige Rogue River kronkelt door het Rogue Siskiyou National Forest, waar u zult vissen met Salmon King Lodge Guide Service wanneer de omstandigheden dit toelaten. Met een van de 39 felbegeerde Lower Rogue Forest Service vergunningen kan deze eersteklas gidsservice u wegleiden van de drukke benedenloop van de Rogue naar het ongerepte Rogue Siskiyou National Forest.
Sluit u aan bij professionele gids Bill Divens voor een spannende dag Zalm- of Regenboogforelvissen aan boord van zijn 25' Willie Jet boot. Het is een van de grootste, best uitgeruste en comfortabelste boten op de Rogue. U zult hoogwaardig materiaal gebruiken dat geoptimaliseerd is voor dit viswater, waaronder Lamiglas hengels en Daiwa lijnenteller molens. Dit is een privécharter. Uw groep krijgt de boot voor zichzelf.
Winter Regenboogforel is overvloedig aanwezig van januari tot maart. De run is zo overvloedig dat u wilde Regenboogforel boven de 24' mag houden, naast alle kwekerij Regenboogforel. U zult vissen vanaf het anker en de elementen alleen trotseren om Regenboogforel te drillen. De meeste van deze trips worden uitgevoerd in het Rogue Siskiyou National Forest.
In maart komen voorjaars Chinook Zalm de Rogue binnen en kunnen tot half juni gevangen worden. U zult ankeren in zachtere binnenstromen en vissen met ansjovis of spinners op bewegende Zalm. U zult op Springers vissen in het National Forest, weg van de drukke benedenloop van de Rogue. Vissen op wat misschien wel de lekkerste zalm ter wereld is, staat voor veel vissers op hun bucketlist!
Herfstrun Chinook Zalm komen begin juli de Rogue binnen en de run neemt toe in augustus en piekt in september. Als de wateromstandigheden het toelaten, zult u het grootste deel van uw inspanning richten op het National Forest. De King run duurt tot oktober met een late run van grote benedenrivier paaiende zalm die de rivier binnenkomt.
De Rogue herbergt een spectaculaire run van Coho ('Silver') Zalm van half september tot half oktober. Vol strijd zullen Silvers de lucht in gaan als een Regenboogforel en vechten als een king. U zult deze acrobatische vechters vangen met spinners, kleine plugs en ansjovis.

Capt .Bill was very knowledgable and personable. Even though we did not catch any fish my Grandsons were able to be on the river and learn about the river and surrounding area. They had a very good time and look forward to coming back.

Captain Bill and first mate River were on time when we arrived for an early start on the Rluge River. The steelhead were running and we thought that we had as good a chance as anybody of picking up a few. We went up river to a favorite spot that they knew set our lines and waited and I’ll be darned if in five minutes we didn’t have one on. It was quite a fight for a fish and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, when we got him in the boat we realized he was a little too short and sent him on his merry way. The rest of the day we were just fishing, we weren’t catching. But that’s how it goes and we had a really nice time out on the river on a beautiful day. I got to spend some time with my son’s and for that I thank both Captain Bill and deckhand ROver for a fine day. These are the guys you want.

My son & I met Captain Bill on the Rogue early on a foggy morning in August. A nice smile, & a firm handshake greeted us for a nice day of Chinook fishing, & within 30 minutes I was fighting a 17 lb’r !! The fish being fresh from the ocean, had a lot of life in him, but Captain Bills’ experience really shines through even when the fish tried to go under the boat in the current amongst lots of fellow anglers, Bill put him in the boat. Thanks for a trip my son & I will never forget!

7hr July Salmon fishing the Rogue with Captain Bill

Before the trip Captain Bill warned us about slow fishing and asked if we would like to cancel. Since we were in it for the experience we let him know we would be going. Also in the email he let us know what to bring and answered all our questions. Fishing day we arrived at the landing at the same time met Bill and first mate River. They invited us into the boat went over the ground rules (3) and we were off. Captain Bill and first mate River were very detailed and patient with the kids since this was their first time using these kind of reals. All bait and tackle were prepared before hand and frozen. Everything was rigged for us every time and checked for proper spin in the water. All we had to do was catch the fish but as stated earlier it has been slow. In the end my wife caught the only salmon of the day and it was the biggest fish she has ever caught. Even though the kids didn’t catch a fish they loved the trip. All in all good people that make the fishing fun and memorable-plus.

Fabulous Day with Bill and River

My husband and I fished with Bill and River in mid-August and had a fantastic day. We appreciated their professionalism, expertise, good humor, and conversation throughout the day. We were early in the season and upriver was still too warm for Chinook to be making their way upstream, but despite that we still caught four lovely jacks. Bill is a great communicator and we knew what to expect, where to go, etc. It was a super fun experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Bill and River!
