Uw vaartuig voor de dag is een 47' Hatteras offshore sportvisboot, ideaal voor 6 hengelaars die allemaal tegelijkertijd willen vissen. Ze is de grootste boot in de haven en is volledig uitgerust voor zowel uw comfort als visproductiviteit.
Het extra grote dek is perfect om de strijd aan te gaan met uw doelsoorten en u zult zeker gebruik maken van de vecht-stoel en outriggers. Stap in de luxueuze binnenkajuit en u vindt een toilet op ware grootte, airconditioning, voldoende zitplaatsen en een muziekinstallatie.
Grote vissen zijn hier het hoofddoel en de productieve wateren van de Stille Oceaan stellen niet teleur. Als u op zoek bent naar de prachtige Pacific Blue Marlin, dan bent u hier aan het juiste adres. Deze giganten kunnen tot wel 1000 pond wegen, dus bereid u voor op buigende hengels. Visbeleid
U deelt de vangst met de bemanning en zij sturen u naar huis met schoongemaakte en gefileerde vis. (15 lbs voor 2 uur, 25 lbs voor 4 uur, 50 lbs voor 8 uur, en 75 lbs voor 12 uur trip aan hele vis) voor de groep om te verdelen. Ze bieden eersteklas uitrusting om uw productiviteit te verhogen en doen hun best om ervoor te zorgen dat u een goede tijd heeft. Als u tevreden bent met de service is een fooi van 20% gebruikelijk.

Best 4 hours on saltwater in Oahu

My son, who had never fished saltwater, my brother, and I had a great time with Hopper and Jay. We doubled up on two mahi to start the morning, and then hit a school and hooked up four at once. From then on it was steady hooks and lands.
From reading the reviews, it is clear that Captain Hopper knows what he’s doing. He does indeed. The lady that left the review from 09-Dec-2025 is hilarious. Sounds like her crew had an epic trip. I hope their fish feast was as great as the catching experience.
We couldn’t recommend Grand Slam more adamantly.

8 Hour Exclusive Trip on December 13, 2025 • 6 adults
We had an amazing fish catch on our tour with Grand Slam. The captain and crew knew what they were doing, for sure, and we pulled in a huge catch including a 120 lb. marlin, probably 20 mahi mahi and 3 tuna. That part of the trip was awesome and the reason for the 5 stars. On the flip side, the water was incredibly rough. Almost everyone in our group got sick, one of us being extremely sick. When we asked the captain and crew to go back to, they were less than responsive to the idea. We actually came back an hour later than the 8 hour tour we booked. One of our group was very dehydrated and in bad shape from the seasickness throughout the day. Also, the captain said he had a "fish policy" that our group only gets 50 lbs. of fish and he gets all the rest. We were 6 people in our group and paid almost $3k for the trip and caught A LOT of fish. His "fish policy" was a bit ridiculous and never spelled out anywhere in detail (on his site it said we share our catch with the crew, no specifics). He did concede and gave us an additional 20 lbs or so after being confronted about it. He was obviously very concerned about selling the fish we caught to make more profit. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

Top notch captain and crew. I highly recommend booking this boat. It’s larger and more comfortable than other boats in that harbor. We booked a half day. The first couple of hours was a little slow and the captain kept us out a little longer. He didn’t want us going home empty handed and it paid off. We ended up catching 2 large Mahi and a wahoo. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Look no further definitely book this boat.

The boat and crew were top notch! After seeing several other boats in the harbor, this was by far the best kept and well maintained boat. The crew was very informative and worked hard to ensure we had a great time and caught as many fish as possible. I would absolutely recommend this fishing trip to anyone looking in the North Short of Oahu area. We will be going out again on our next trip!!!
