Je zou kunnen denken dat vissen in Florida beperkt is tot de kustwateren. Echter, net ten zuiden van Orlando, kun je geweldig vissen op Lake Tohopekaliga.
Schipper Bill en zijn team wachten op je in zijn Ranger bassboot. Dit elegante kleine vaartuig is perfect om over het kalme water van het meer te glijden. Het is uitgerust met fishfinder-apparatuur en een koelbox aan boord met ijs om je drankjes koel te houden in de middaghitte.
Lake Tohopekaliga heeft genoeg Forelbaars voor je om binnen te halen. Schipper Bill is een levenslange Baars-visser en kent alle trucjes om je te helpen vangsten te maken. Hij is goed voorzien van licht materiaal en heeft Penn-hengels en Abu Garcia-molens, wat een geweldige uitrusting is voor het vangen van Baars.
Je gaat vissen met kunstaas op deze trip, maar levend aas kan ook op verzoek worden verstrekt. Schipper Bill voorziet zijn mede-vissers van flessenwater, maar voel je vrij om je eigen drankjes en wat eten mee te nemen. Je moet van tevoren je Florida-visvergunning boeken, die online te koop is.
Afgezien daarvan ben je helemaal klaar voor een fantastische dag vangen van Forelbaars en misschien zelfs wat lekkere Amerikaanse Zonnebaars als een kleine bonus op deze ontspannen trip naar het meer.

great trip in terrible weather
6-Hour Bass Fishing Trip op February 6, 2026 • 2 volwassenen
it isnt ideal to head out in 40 degree weather to bass fish in florida. water temp was 52! Thats my luck when i plan a trip but we didnt let that stop us!…capt was still able to find some fish! we caught close to 10 bass and a couple chain pickerel (new species for me)
we all made the most of the brutal wet cold winds that were blowing through every layer of clothing we had on and had some great conversations about fishing capt was bery knowledgeable and even offered up some tips that i plan to try in my local lakes.
looking forward to another trip with more favorable conditions.

Fun Florida Bass Trip

Devin Dickerson did a great job getting us on the bass! Non-stop action! Devin is a great guy with extensive knowledge of Lake Toho. Highly recommend and would definitely do another trip with him in the future.

Captain was excellent. He found the fish and instructed us in the technique we used to catch them. We caught a lot of decent sized bass the largest weighing 7 pounds. Did not like booking through an agent. While the agent was pleasant and helpful, I thought the process took way too much time, I have been booking salt water trips for several years near charlotte harbor and all it takes is a few minutes on the phone with a captain to set up a trip.

Captain Bill Goudy did an excellent job getting us to the favorite places to catch fish. We kept several large mouth bass and lost a few as well, but an excellent trip.
