Zie en geniet van de rijkdommen van de westkust met Sooke Salmon Fishing Charters! De schipper vist al zijn hele leven en besloot zich te vestigen in BC, in het zuiden van Vancouver Island. Hij organiseert kindvriendelijke vistrips en verwelkomt beginners. Je moet ergens beginnen met vissen, dus waarom zou je de vaardigheid niet leren van een professional die veel te delen heeft.
Stap aan boord van een 25' Houston die is uitgerust met de nieuwste navigatie- en veiligheidsapparatuur. Dit vissersschip heeft capaciteit voor 4 gasten, met voldoende ruimte voor iedereen om tegelijkertijd te vissen. Ze wordt aangedreven door twee 300 PK Volvo Penta-motoren en bereikt indien nodig een snelheid van 30 knopen. Je vindt er ook een kombuis, privétoilet, een bed en tal van verschillende visextras.
Zalm zal hoogstwaarschijnlijk je belangrijkste doelwit zijn op elke trip, maar je hebt ook volop mogelijkheden voor andere soorten. Je kunt een enorme Heilbot, Rockfish of Groenling (Lingcod) vangen. Afhankelijk van wat je wilt vangen, wissel je tussen trollen, bodemvissen en jiggen. Het is toegestaan om de vangst te houden, dus neem je koelbox mee en bewaar de vis voor later!
Alle visuitrusting en flessenwater zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen. Dit betekent dat je alleen je vergunning moet regelen en wat snacks en drankjes voor de dag moet meenemen.

A trip to remember !

What a fantastic day on the water. The weather was perfect and our captain was exceptional- knowledgeable, safety focused, and clearly passionate about what he does. He took the time to show us around and share insights that made the experience even more enjoyable.
Despite the strong currents and it being off season, we came home with an impressive haul of crab - and were even sent home with halibut, which was a great bonus.
We truly couldn't recommend this tour more. Everyone left smiling. It was an unforgettable experience.

My girlfriend and I love to fish! We typically do it together, only fishing from shore or wading in shallow rivers. This time we decided to hire a professional charter, and we could not have been more pleased with the experience. Luke’s professionalism and patience were top-tier – which to us, should be the standard. We fished in late December on a cold morning, but it turned out to be the most beautiful day and we caught three gorgeous salmon and one Ling cod. He also took us crabbing and shrimping. Luke made the booking process extremely easy was very responsive with messaging and we can’t wait to tell all of our friends and personally visit back soon!

Crabs, shrimp, and a great time

Captain Luke was great! We had some choppy water and half of our people were feeling sick. Captain Luke got us into some calmer water and worked to get us on some fish. No fish this time, but we did get some crabs and shrimp from the pots. We very much enjoyed the trip, scenery, and Captain Luke. Even though we didn't land any fish, Captain Luke gave us some halibut to take home!

Excellent experience - Lots of Coho & Crab

We had a outstanding day on the water. We lucked out with calm seas and a blue bird day. Captain Luc was an excellent host and guided us through our first experience Salmon fishing. We were able to be very involved in everything including dropping and pulling the crab traps, and post fishing learning how to fillet. Bonus was the local Harbour seals coming to enjoy all the fish trimmings. Luc made this trip perfection.

Captain Luke was incredibly accommodating. As per our request, he met us a bit earlier and even showed our children some fishing tips. We caught two beautiful salmon within the first 30 minutes of the trip! On the way back, we pulled up the crab cage and found four large crabs. We booked a two-hour fishing trip and came away with not only a great
catch but also a ton of positivity and wonderful memories.
