Boeken bij TailWrapped Sportfishing garandeert je een fantastisch visavontuur. Schipper James 'Sean' McSwigin heeft meer dan 35 jaar viservaring, gespecialiseerd in inshore, open zee en toernooivissen. Hij heeft vele prestigieuze toernooien op Long Island gewonnen en heeft ook op de cover van het tijdschrift Long Island Fisherman gestaan.
TailWrapped is een 32' Topaz sportvisserboot met dubbele Caterpillar-motoren met 640 pk, die een kruissnelheid van 22-24 knopen bieden en je snel naar de visgronden brengen. We kunnen je een veilige en lonende ervaring garanderen waar je hele gezelschap van zal genieten.
De klanten zijn prioriteit nummer één! Van beginner tot de meest ervaren visser, de bemanning is gespecialiseerd in het creëren van een op maat gemaakte vistrip voor jou. Schipper Sean voorziet in alles wat je nodig hebt. Gloednieuwe topkwaliteit uitrusting en materiaal, inclusief Penn en Avet molens, Shimano en op maat gemaakte hengels worden verstrekt, evenals aas en ijs. Visvergunningen zijn ook inbegrepen.
De eerste maat zal je vangst schoonmaken en fileren zodat je het mee naar huis kunt nemen, of je kunt het meebrengen naar het restaurant bij Star Island Yacht Club en genieten van een heerlijke maaltijd na je trip.
Montauk is een mekka voor sportvissen en is werkelijk 'De Vishoofdstad van de Wereld'. Er is nergens ter wereld waar je zo'n diversiteit aan vis kunt vangen en schipper Sean weet hoe en waar hij ze kan vinden. Inshore kun je vissen op Gestreepte Zeebaars, Blauwbaars, Zwarte Zeebaars, Fluke, Kabeljauw, Black Fish en talloze andere soorten. Op open zee kun je jagen op Blauwvintonijn, Geelvintonijn en Grootoogtonijn, Blauwe Marlijn, Witte Marlijn, Zwaardvis, Goudmakreel en Golden Tilefish.

A day to remember for ages

My 8 year old son and I went for a half day trip in the morning and it was just stunning. Captain Jim and his wife Caroline made it a hack of an experience for my son and also myself.
My son caught multiple fish under guidance of the two and pulled stripe bass on board himself. Even through the barrier of English language for my son from Germany he felt so comfortable and warm onboard that he doesn’t stop talking about this fishing trip

Full day tuna trip with tailwrapped and James McSwigin

Fantastic day with my kids. They have been asking about going tuna fishing out of New York for nearly a decade based on stories I have told them from my years growing up I. The area. Being in Georgia makes the trip difficult to time and coordinate based o. Their busy schedule at home. This year, stars aligned and I was finally able to fill my promise. My sons had a fantastic time and are already asking about next year. Captain James and Mike have helped me to establish what I hope will be many years of tradition with my sons, well into their adult years. They showed my sons a great time and we came home with a large amount of tuna and great memories of the best father son weekend I have had with my children.
I highly recommend captain James to anyone considering a trip with him. He and his crew are knowledgeable, hard working and great guides.
Thanks to them for making this the best time I could have hoped for with my sons!

Amazing half day trip with Captain Jim
5 HOUR TRIP (PM) op August 11, 2022 • 3 volwassenen
We had the most amazing fishing experience with captain Jim and his mate Mark. The boat was clean, spacious, and fully equipped, and both Jim and Mark were so knowledgeable and eager to help us reel in the biggest catch. We began by trawling for striped bass and caught at least half a dozen huge striped bass that were more than 50 lb each! It was an unforgettable experience. We then went fishing for fluke and sea bass and that was equally fruitful. This was one of our best fishing charter experiences and we can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a fun day out at sea!
