Barbarossa Fishing is een visserijcharter in de Bay Area, gevestigd in Santa Cruz, Californië. Je trip begint op de 'Barbarossa', een 2015 25' Parker stuurhuis boot die comfortabel plaats biedt aan 6 gasten. De boot vaart op twee 150 PK Yamaha-motoren met een maximale kruissnelheid van 40 knopen, beschikt over een spoeltoilet en is uitgerust met downriggers, outriggers en een leefbak.
Je krijgt de kans om te vissen op de lokale riffen of naar Davenport te varen om grote Groenling (Lingcod) te vangen. De schipper is ook gespecialiseerd in het vangen van Zalm, Rockfish, Krab, Heilbot en andere soorten. De technieken die je kunt uitproberen zijn onder andere diepzeevissen, bodemvissen, trollen en jiggen. Je mag al je vangst houden als je wilt en je bent vrij om kinderen mee te nemen op je trip. Zalmtrips zijn volledig volgeboekt voor het seizoen 2025.
Schipper Justin voorziet je van alle hengels, molens, materiaal, levend aas en kunstaas. Je hoeft alleen een visvergunning en het eten en drinken van je keuze mee te nemen.

🎣 Unforgettable Fishing Trip with Barbarossa Fishing! 🐟

We booked a trip with Barbarossa Fishing for my best friend's bachelor party, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we've ever had on the water! From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Tuk made us feel right at home. His energy, expertise, and sense of humor made the day not just fun but absolutely unforgettable.
We were out on the water for 7 hours, and I kid you not, we were catching fish the ENTIRE time. It felt like every cast brought in a new thrill, and Captain Tuk knew exactly where to take us to keep the action going. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just out for a good time with the crew, this trip had it all.
The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate, and we'll definitely be booking with Barbarossa Fishing again.
Huge shoutout to Captain Tuk for making it a bachelor party we’ll be talking about for years. If you're thinking about a fishing trip don’t think twice. Call Barbarossa!

Great day out with Captain Justin
Mid-day 3 hour trip op May 25, 2025 • 3 volwassenen
All three people in our group have never fished on the west coast and 2/3rds of us don’t fish artificial normally. Justin was incredibly helpful with helping those two catch fish in a fishing with which they weren’t familiar.
We also fished with some dead baits just off the bottom and caught some larger fish that way.
It was forecast to start getting windy throughout the morning. Instead of canceling the trip like we’ve experienced back home before, Justin helped us find the best window of time to get out on the water safely and have the best fishing experience possible.
There was also an incident where another boat was coming straight at us as we were finishing a drift - Justin’s great situational awareness and quick response to the situation was crucial and insanely impressive.
If you’re looking for a captain that knows his grounds & can get you on the fish, respects the weather and is ready for anything that could go wrong on the water, this is the charter you want.

GREAT TIME

We bought this trip for our father for Father's Day and it did not disappoint. We had amazing trip with Captain Tuk. All 6 of us were able to catch at least 1 fish and the captain was extremely helpful and fun throughout the entire charter. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great fishing experience. We will be doing it again.

We put together a family fishing trip, and we had a few first timers with us. The weather and sea state was great for fishing. Captain Tuk did an awesome job with teaching a few techniques on how to catch fish. Our first timers were the first and last to catch fish at every fishing spot, we had an amazing time. We are making plans for a different trip.
