Come to Texas and have lots of fun with Lucky 7 Guide Service! You’ll go inshore to explore the waters, reefs, and flats around Palacios in search of various prized fish species. You’ll be in the safe hands of Captain Reyes Perez, a friendly and expert angler who’ll make sure you have a wonderful fishing experience. Join him and discover the beauties of fishing Texan inshore waters.

You’ll start your trip on a restored 22’ Transport saltwater fishing boat powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots. The boat holds place for up to 4 anglers. It uses modern GPS and fishfinder technology for navigation, a wireless trolling motor for a tactful approach to the fish, and a livewell to provide you with live bait.

On your trip, you’ll get to target Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Black Drum, and more. You and the captain will use popping and drift fishing on light tackle to catch fish. You’re free to choose if you want to keep your catch and take it home or simply release it back into the water.

Captain Hans will supply you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures that you’ll need for the trip, as well as drinks. In addition, he’ll clean and bag your catch at no extra cost. You should just bring your fishing licenses and food of your choice.

Couldn’t ask for a better trip

Captain Reyes came through after a different captain canceled. I truly believe he cared more about putting us on fish than we did. We struck out at our first spot and absolutely slayed it at the next. Trip had sheepshead, reds (slot and bulls), flounder, trout and black drums (maybe a couple hardheads). The boat was equipped with everything you need for a day of fishing plus a few creature comforts. I always try to leave some sort of constructive criticism but for the life of me I have nothing but praise for Captain Reyes.

We went out today with Captain Reyes and had a really good time. I had a 16 year old boy and two 12 year old boys with me and everyone got to catch some nice fish. Captain Reyes worked his butt off keeping all of the lines baited up and getting fish off the hooks, and didn't get aggravated about at all. He is more than happy to cast the lines out for someone who is quite a professional angler. I was looking for someone who would be very patient with lesser experienced kids and he was definitely the right pick for us. We didn't limit out on anything but we caught a lot of fish and got to bring home some nice redfish and flounder. If I ever come back fishing in this area I will be giving Captain Reyes a call.

Great Day on the Water

Captain Reyes put us in a school of black drum. One of our party hooked up with a monster. Just about as big as they get in the Bay. We caught a lot of fish and tried a lot of spots. The Captain was engaging and can cast a mile. It was a great day.
