Big Boii Charters offers some of the best adventures the Lower Keys has to offer. Captain Torre is at the helm, providing fishing, spearfishing, snorkeling, and sandbar excursions. Big Boii offers everything and guarantees a memorable time for all experience levels!

Goliath Grouper, Black Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna are just a few fish Captain Torre likes to target. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing available as well.

Your vessel for the day is a 25’ Center console with room for 4 passengers. Six is allowed but not recommended for a 25’ boat. It has all the essentials to have a great time on the water, whether it’s fishing, spearfishing, catching Lobster, or just hanging at the sandbar! Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with hooks and lures. Live bait is included (if available), as well as chum and cut bait always!

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks or lunch, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Ice for drinks and bottled water will be provided. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Never fished on the ocean before and it’s been a while since any kind of fishing period. Captain Torre was a great teacher, easy to talk to, super positive, and knowledgeable not only about the area and fishing in general. You can totally tell he enjoys what he does. The fishing spots that we went to were great, especially the second one. Lots of catching and a few workouts to bring some of the fish in. Definitely will be booking Big Boii Charter the next time in the area. HUGE thanks to Captain Torre and Tom for making the trip so memorable.

Fishing on Christmas eve

3/4 Day 6 hours wreck/reef/offshore on December 24, 2025 • 3 adults

We didn’t expect anyone to have time for us on Christmas Eve, but captain Torre was there to bring us out. The day started out really slow because of the wind, but he made it his absolute mission to catch us some fish. We ending up hooking into plenty of nice snapper and had fun fighting the mackerel at the end. This was the best part of our trip, and we will definitely be coming back to big boi charters next time.

Afternoon fishing

Special 6 hour trip for Al Caccamo on October 13, 2025 • 2 adults

Excelent customer service and great communication with Capt. Torre. The trip went off just as planned we spent some time snapper fishing and then trolled for a while and finished up the trip bottom fishing. We caught plenty of fish for dinner and even some nice Cero ceviche. Followed up by a great sun set and smoothe ride Home. Over all great trip with a great Capt. We will fish with him again

Full Day wreck/reef/offshore on November 9, 2025 • 4 adults

Captain Torre was outstanding. We tried a few different techniques and caught sme awesme fish. We spent the whole day on the water and Captain Torre gave us more than our allotted time without ever even mentioning it. Hope to fish with him again in teh future. Cannot go wrong with Big Boii Charters.

Torre was an awesome Captain! A great day and we caught a variety of fish. Mutton snapper, king mackeral, mackeral, blue runner and a couple of 3 foot black nose sharks. Great personality and attention to detail trying to get us on the fish. You won't be disappointed.
