Welkom bij Homer Fishing Adventures, uw charterverbinding met wat het prachtige Homer, Alaska te bieden heeft! Sluit u aan bij schipper Marcus, die de afgelopen 10 jaar bijna elke dag op het water heeft doorgebracht. Met al die geïnvesteerde tijd heeft hij enorm veel kennis opgedaan over de visserij.
Het belangrijkste doel van schipper Marcus is dat iedereen geniet van een fantastische tijd op het water, ongeacht hun viservaring. Hij zorgt ervoor dat iedereen, van beginners tot experts, de best mogelijke tijd heeft.
U gaat vissen op een nieuwere 31' vaartuig dat plaats biedt aan maximaal 6 gasten. Ze wordt aangedreven door twee 250 pk motoren en bereikt een snelheid van 35 knopen. Er is voldoende ruimte voor alle vissers om comfortabel te vissen en u kunt rekenen op een veilige en efficiënte vaartocht.
Uw doelsoorten hangen af van het type trip dat u kiest. U kunt een trip maken die zich richt op slechts één soort of ze allemaal combineren in één groot avontuur. Vang Heilbot, Zalm, Kabeljauw en Rockfish met verschillende technieken.
Het is gemakkelijk om u voor te bereiden op deze trip, aangezien de bemanning de belangrijkste details regelt. Zij zorgen voor eersteklas visuitrusting en verzorgen het schoonmaken van de vangst. U hoeft alleen uw visvergunning te regelen en wat snacks en drankjes in te pakken voor de dag.

My review:
This was the best fishing i have ever done in Alaska! I have been on 3 different charters before and only caught one small halibut, but this time we decided to go with Captain Marcus, and we all had full bags of fish with our limit. Thank you Captain for unforgettable experience! I am happy, wife is happy. If in the next summer we still be here in Alaska, we will only go with CPT Marcus and his Black Pearl!

Capt. Marcus was awesome and know where to go and how to get us on the fish. Within the 1st 10 minutes of fishing I caught the biggest Halibut and checked it off my bucket list. We caught 13 or 14 halibut can't remember exactly because we were having so much fun. We were doubled up multiple times and limited out on our Halibut and Rock fish also caught some bonus cod and lost a king. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome Trip
8 Hour Trip – Multi Species Shared op May 11, 2026 • 2 volwassenen
Markus was an awesome captiain and the deck hand, Ben was on the spot with anything we needed. Professional crew that put us on fish. The whole boat limited on halibut and rock fish. We also caught a boat load of cod and a couple other species here and there. Would 100% book with these guys again.

I was initially hesitant to book a fishing trip online without any personal recommendations. While I had used Fishing Booker before with references, this time I had none—but after reading the reviews, I decided to go with the Black Pearl. I’m so glad I did!
Even before we arrived in Homer, AK, Captain Forrest reached out with a warm introduction and encouraged me to ask any questions about our trip. We exchanged several emails, and he was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. It was reassuring to know we could bring our own coolers, food, and snacks, which made the day even more comfortable.
The boat was very clean, well-kept, and equipped with great gear — and yes, it has a bathroom!
Captain Forrest and his first mate, Ben, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. I honestly think they enjoy seeing their guests catch fish just as much as they enjoy fishing themselves. Their knowledge of the area and where to go made all the difference — we caught our limit of halibut along with rockfish, cod, and even some salmon!
The atmosphere on board was relaxed, professional, and fun. My family and I had an unforgettable experience fishing on the Black Pearl with Captain Forrest Luking and his first mate, Ben.
