Although the Captain tried different techniques the fish weren't biting. We did catch one Skipjack and hooked a Shark as were heading in at the end of the day. Box lunches and drinks were available and we played our own music on the boat. The dock was easy to find at the Marina. Oh yeah, viewed some whales too! Be careful of the Sea Lions in the Marina & coming back entering the Marina. They can be aggressive. Overall, we had a great time and would do it again. Thanks Cabo Sportsfishing Team!

We booked the Reel Tequila with Cabo Sport Fishing for my son’s 13th birthday, and it was nothing short of magical. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Before we even arrived, we knew exactly where to go and what to expect, and the team was already waiting for us when we showed up. We booked a full-day trip to give my son the best possible shot at his dream fish. When we got on the boat, the crew asked my son what his dream was. Without hesitation, he said a dorado. They were honest and told us dorado and marlin had been tough lately, but promised they would do everything they could. We set off into the most incredible sunrise and were invited to sit up top with the crew, which made the experience feel even more special. The boat was very well stocked with water, multiple sodas, beer, and they provided great lunches as well. They took us far offshore to the point where you could not see another boat and the land was just a distant horizon. The moment we were in the water, it was nonstop action. These guys never sat down and never stopped working. Within two hours, we hooked a trophy-size dorado. The crew was incredible with my son, teaching him how to properly use the equipment, guiding him without taking over, and showing so much patience. When that dorado hit the deck, life was very, very good. Around that same time, three out of the five people in our group were taken down hard by seasickness. The crew handled it with total kindness and humor, laughing with them through the misery and never once making anyone feel bad for being sick in choppy water. About an hour later, we hooked an even bigger dorado, and that was it. My son’s dream day was complete. We were scheduled to fish until 2:00 PM, but with the seasick family members, we decided to head back early around 11:00. The team helped us get our fish over to Gricelda’s for processing (also highly recommend!) and made the wrap-up seamless. The Reel Tequila team is the real deal. We went fishing with another outfit two days later and spent eight hours on what felt like a sightseeing tour. We only saw the captain and first mate twice the entire day. It was painful and made us appreciate this trip even more. I will never go fishing with anyone other than Cabo Sport Fishing again. Thank you for giving my son a truly unforgettable 13th birthday

We arrived by cruise ship at 1:00 p.m. and booked the full-day charter, knowing we wouldn’t get the full eight hours in—but it was absolutely worth it. Lunch was excellent, and Captain Juan and First Mate Juan were the best crew in Cabo. My wife and I had a double hookup and each landed a striped marlin over 100 lbs! On the way back, we hooked into a dolphin (mahi-mahi) and were treated to an incredible show from a pod of dolphins and flying manta rays. The crew used several techniques to keep us on the fish, and we had an absolute blast with these two professionals. Highly recommend!

We went out with Reel Tequila and while the weather definitely wasn’t on our side (20–25 ft swells most of the day), the crew handled it like absolute pros. They kept things safe, fun, and somehow managed to help us hook two sailfish in some of the roughest water I’ve ever been in. Even though the conditions were wild, they made the best of it — calm under pressure, great communication, and tons of laughs in between the chaos. We came back salt-soaked, sore, and smiling from ear to ear. If you’re looking for a crew that knows how to fish and how to keep spirits high no matter what the ocean throws your way — Reel Tequila is your boat.

Went on a full day trip on 11/22/25. Took the wife and daughter who both got seasick and i needed to catch some fish fast before we had to return due to seasick family. Hooked into a big marlin right when we got to the fishing spot. Fought it for 40minutes and it got off right before landing. We then started trolling and caught a nice Wahoo. Just wanted one more fish and Jose and Jose were determined and we hooked another Marlin- fought it for 20 minutes and landed it - took photos and released- it was awesome! Fish of a lifetime for me as i mostly flly fish for trout in Colorado. Had to head back early due to the sick girls. Thanks to the crew for the hard work they put in to get me some nice catches in a short time!
