Met Blue Ridge Fly Fishing Adventures kun je altijd rekenen op een geweldige driftvissentrip. Laat schipper Todd je meenemen naar de Toccoa River of ga de bergstroompjes verkennen. Hij begeleidt je naar enkele van de beste visstekken en deelt zijn ervaring. De trips zijn beschikbaar voor vissers van alle niveaus, inclusief complete beginners. Het kost alleen een beetje positieve energie en wat geluk om de vis van je dromen te vangen.
Je begint de trip op een 16' Saturn driftboot die plaats biedt aan maximaal 2 gasten. De boot biedt een stabiele en betrouwbare vaart, maar ze speelt slechts een bijrol. Wanneer je de visstek bereikt, stap je de rivier of een stroompje in en vang je vis te voet.
Het hangt er allemaal van af waar je naartoe wilt en welke plek betere vangst oplevert. De schipper zal adviseren wat de beste keuze is. Je kunt rekenen op het vangen van voornamelijk forelsoorten, zoals Regenboogforel, Bronforel en Forel, maar je kunt ook gaan voor Breedbekbaars, Amerikaanse Gele Baars en Black Brasem. Combineer vliegvissen met ultralight materiaal.
Je mag de vangst houden en de schipper schoont en fileert deze gratis voor je. Het zijn allemaal zeer lekkere panvissen, dus je zult van je maaltijd genieten, ongeacht wat je vangt.
Alle visuitrusting, zoals hengels, kunstaas en aas zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen. Je moet wel je eigen visvergunning kopen en wat snacks en drankjes meenemen. Vergeet je waadpak en -laarzen niet!

Todd was an awesome guide! My 10 year old son had a blast! Todd had all the equipment and bait we needed. We moved up and down the river and caught trout and other fish and caught enough to have dinner that night. I will definitely be calling him back for another fishing trip. Thank you Todd!

Memorable December Fishing Trip

My wife and I had an excellent time with captain Todd. He was glad to help in rescheduling our trip date because of the cold weather rather than having to cancel it.Which made for a beautiful day on the water. We were really looking forward to this trip and captain Todd made sure to put us on a fish. He was very patient when we lost multiple lures and always made sure we had a rigged pole in our hand. We all shared great conversation down the drift of the river while he directed us towards specific spots to throw our lines and once we finished he explained to us how to gut and filet the fish. We will absolutely be booking again it was a very memorable experience.

Dad/Son trip... never fished for trout...(we have fished for large mouth bass in lakes.) Captain Todd contacted me shortly after booking and asked what type of fishing we were interested(fly/spinning). Captain Todd will accommodate for preferences...(if you have never fished with a fly rod or once or twice, I would recommend spinning)...Capt. Todd will instruct either way! He had us on several holes that we caught a lot of fish... probably, we could have caught our limit! But you have to remember the water is pushing you to the end of your trip.

We fished the Toccoa starting out at Tammen Park. Todd was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable about the trout fishing and about the area. He was patient and conversation was easy. We had a little bit of a slow fishing day but sometimes it happens (we took trout home to cook so we were good!) We were treated to six miles of absolutely beautifully scenery and cool clear water to fish in. The sounds of the river alone were therapeutic. We will definitely be back to this beautiful river!!!
