Wanneer u de schilderachtige gemeenschap van Lakeside Marblehead, OH bezoekt, vergeet dan niet om wat foto's te maken van de plaatselijke vuurtoren en maak natuurlijk van de gelegenheid gebruik om te vissen op Lake Erie. Chelsea Charters biedt u graag vistrips aan, zodat u een leuke dag op het water kunt doorbrengen. Hun schippers zijn zeer ervaren en zullen hun best doen om hun kennis en enthousiasme met u te delen.
Een enkele vistrip is geschikt voor groepen van maximaal 6 gasten. U vaart over het meer aan boord van een 30' Island Hopper offshore sportfishing model uit 1986, dat in 2013 is gerenoveerd. Tijdens uw visavontuur kunt u genieten van muziek via het multimedia-systeem aan boord. De boot kan een topsnelheid van 28 knopen bereiken met zijn enkele QSB-motor.
Chelsea Charters is gespecialiseerd in vissen op Lake Erie. Hoewel u het hele jaar door kunt vissen, heeft u de grootste kans op vangst tijdens de zomermaanden en het begin van de herfst. U kunt vissen op Amerikaanse Gele Baars, en heerlijke Breedbekbaars en Kleinbekbaars. Wat betreft vistechnieken kunt u licht materiaal, trollen, spinvissen en jiggen toepassen.
Vissers moeten hun Ohio-visvergunning aanschaffen voordat ze aan boord komen. U hoeft zich echter geen zorgen te maken over het vistuig en de aas, want die liggen klaar. Voor uw comfort is er een toilet aan boord beschikbaar. Als u geluk heeft, mag u uw vangst houden.

Thanks to Josh and his wife!!!! I booked this charter for my husband and my dad, as a gift for my dad’s birthday, not knowing what I was looking for and with absolutely no intentions of going myself. I felt some peer pressure from my mom, she just wanted to be on the boat to catch some sun. We ended up going with the guys and we all had so much fun! It was a little slow at first and hard to get a few in the boat, but once we hit a good spot, it was one fish after another. My dad is The Shepherd reeling in sheep head and white bass hand over fist, lol. I didn’t want to go as I’m a red head with fair skin and didn’t want to be an Erie Lobster…well….we all had a great time, I didn’t get sick, I didn’t get burnt, and we caught our boat limit of walleye! 10/10 would recommend and WILL do again! Thanks again Josh!

Afternoon charter with captain Thad

Booked for a Walleye trip for 2 dads and 3 older kids, but as the walleye weren’t biting, went for perch instead. Easy as can be, all we needed is our cooler for drinks and snacks, our cooler for fish, and they supplied the rest. Was a little bit of a learning curve on catching the perch with his technique but he put us where the fish were and caught a bunch. He let us be as hands on or hands off as we liked. Don’t let his age fool you, he’s an experienced captain with a passion for it. Had a great time. We will certainly book with him the next time we need to charter and looking forward to it. Thank you Thad!

Nice trip

We went out two days jigging for walleye. Capt. Jo did a great job putting us on fish even when the weather was a little rough the first day. Second day we had beautiful weather and limited out in a few hours. We had a great time and plan to do it again.

Josh and Ruby were great guides as my family got to experience Lake Erie for the first time. As a group we had limited experience fishing but they took care of everything. My kids were amazed at how many fish they were able to catch and the size of them. I even got an idea for a steelhead appetizer from them that I’m gonna use when we have our fish fry!
