Chef Charles The Fishing Chef nodigt je uit voor een spannende vistrip in Key Largo, Florida! Samen met schipper Charles Maloney verken je inshore en open zee wateren, riffen en flats en heb je veel plezier met het vissen op verschillende geliefde soorten. Schipper Charles is niet alleen een levenslange visser, maar ook een bekwame kok met professionele ervaring die de vis die je vangt na de trip kan bereiden en naar je verblijfplaats kan sturen. Breng hem een bezoek en beleef een geweldige tijd op het water in Key Largo!

Je avontuur begint op een gerestaureerde 26' World Cat catamaran die plaats biedt aan maximaal 4 gasten. De boot vaart op twee 200 PK Suzuki motoren, maakt gebruik van geavanceerde navigatietechnologie en heeft een draagbaar toilet. Er is ook een koelbox om je vis en drankjes in te bewaren en een leefbak om je van levend aas te voorzien. De zoon van de schipper, Jay, is eerste maat en zal ook meegaan op je trip.

De soorten waar je op zult vissen zijn onder andere Goudmakreel, Koningsmakreel, Grijze Zeebaars en Geelstaart, Blauwvintonijn, Grote Barracuda en Paardmakreel. Je kunt ze vangen door bodemvissen met licht en zwaar materiaal, diepzeevissen, trollen en driftvissen, en je mag de vis die je vangt houden. Kinderen zijn van harte welkom om mee te doen.

Schipper Charles zorgt voor alle hengels, molens, materiaal, kunstaas en visvergunningen, en hij zal je vangst zelfs gratis schoonmaken en fileren. Zorg er alleen voor dat je je eigen snacks en drankjes meeneemt.

Couldn’t have asked for a better captain!!!
Afternoon bite op February 20, 2026 • 3 volwassenen • 2 kinderen
We spent the afternoon with Captain Charles….it was an amazing experience. Our family (Dad, Mom, son and two grandchildren) trolled for fish and then headed toward the reef. Captain Charles was absolutely amazing with all of us, but especially our 11 year old grandson and 8 year old granddaughter. We caught about 20 fish not counting the smaller ones that we threw back. Charles was great with communication before the trip and very patient during the excursion. Our grandson got a little seasick and Captain was helpful telling him what to do to feel better. Our granddaughter was scared at first, but after catching 8 fish, was so comfortable on the water! Additionally, Captain Charles took so much time explaining what kind of fish we caught as well as explaining about the water levels, reefs and “ledge” to our grandson. The cherry on top was the fact that Captain/chef Charles filleted, cooked and delivered our fish into fish tacos for our dinner. DELICIOUS! We plan to book another trip with Chef Charles next year!

This was the best experience. Captin Charles and his son are very knowledgeable people. They had great patience with my kids helping all of us with the lures and removing the fish to measuring then and knowing what ones we are allowed to keep. Hands down an amazing chef as well. Not only did Captin Charles clean the fish he cooked us a wonderful meal and delivered right to our door. I was so shocked when he added his homemade salsa, tarter sauce and guacamole with a salad tacos and a key lime cheese cake. Id hire this charter evertime. 100% recommended 👌

Great day on the water
Half Day Trip – out of the ocean op January 5, 2025 • 3 volwassenen
My family had a fantastic time with Chef Charles. We went 5 miles offshore, and my son was able to try for lobster. Because of the waves and my son's lack of confidence, we decided to fish. We caught a small shark and lots of bites on the reef. We decided to move closer to shore and got 10 snappers. We couldn't stop pulling them out of the water! Captain Charles was great—personable, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We will book with him again in the Spring.

Full Day Mahi/wahoo/tuna trolling op June 10, 2024
Captain Charles is such a Gentleman and fun to be around. He works so hard to make your experience as exciting and fun as it can be. I would never look for any other Charters. I will be booking again text year. Charles has become a very good friend of mine since are Charter and we will be in touch regularly. Charles put us on alot of Mahi Mahi. So much fun to see my wife so excited when she caught a fish and Charles showed his excitement as well. He will even extend his time limit to ensure you get your fish. Charles is a awesome and generous man. He even went out of his way to give as a 50th Anniversary gift.
