Come join us for a fun-filled day of fishing out of the legendary Hatteras, NC. Captain Johnny Fairbanks loves fishing and wants you to enjoy it just as much as him. We strive to make every trip an unforgettable experience on the water and offer personalized trips to the customer’s desires. From hardcore fishing to relaxing family outings, with children. We are ready to get you on the water.
You’ll fish from a 25’ Parker center console with room for up to 6 anglers and a 250hp Yamaha engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 25 knots. The boat uses all the modern fishfinder, GPS, as well as radio technology to take you to the fish safely and quickly and has also got a flybridge.
The species you can target are Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Sheepshead, Cobia, and a variety of other species. Using light tackle, you and the captain will catch them by casting, jigging, bait fishing, as well as sight fishing. You’re free to choose if you’ll keep your catch and take it home or just release it back into the water.
You will need sunscreen, snacks, drinks, etc. There is storage on the boat for your belongings and all fishing gear and bait is included in the trip as well as fishing licenses.

Another Great Trip with Captain Johnny!!

This was our third trip with Captain Johnny, and once again, he did not disappoint! My son and I always look forward to these charters, and this time was no exception. Even though the conditions weren’t exactly ideal—windy and a little tough early on—Johnny still managed to get us on the fish. His experience and determination really showed, and he worked hard to make sure we had a great day on the water.
It’s clear he knows the area like the back of his hand, and he’s always upbeat, patient, and great with kids. Watching my son reel in fish after fish and seeing the excitement on his face made the whole trip worth it. These are the kinds of memories we’ll never forget.
Can’t recommend Captain Johnny enough. If you’re looking for a great day on the water with someone who truly cares about making your trip special, he’s your guy. We’ll definitely be back for trip number four!

My kids and I had a great time on our 8 hour fishing trip with Captain Johnny. He was very informative and did well with the kids. We caught many types of fish and seen a lot of other cool fish and sea animals on our trip. We will definitely come back and go fishing again with Captain Johnny and recommend him to others also.

Capt Johnny is a knowledgeable guy and was keeping us on fish all day. We maxed out on blues and almost maxed out on mackerel. We caught two black fin tuna to the start our day off which lead us into filling the ice box. Definitely will book another trip! Thanks for a great day and memories.

Our kids had a blast the captain promised a fun trip and that’s what it was he put us on fish the kids even got involved casting and reeling them in. We have been on many charters in our years here and this one by far was the best!!
