Reef Fishing and Adventures with Dauntless Excursions

If you’re looking to get off the beaten path and onto the water, welcome aboard Dauntless. I’m Captain Janis, and whether you want to fish, snorkel, lobster, or just relax and explore, I’ll help you build a trip that fits what you actually want to do — not some cookie-cutter tour.

Here’s what we can get into:

Reef Fishing – Light Tackle, Big Fun
We’ll head out to the reefs and put some serious bend in the rods. Light tackle keeps it sporty, and you never know what’ll hit. Common catches include:

- Snapper

- Grouper (when in season)

- Mackerel

- Triggerfish

- Barracuda

And plenty of other reef prowlers

You can fish for dinner, catch-and-release, or just enjoy the action. No pressure — just good times and great stories.

Snorkeling the Marine Sanctuary
Want to jump in and see the reef up close? We’ll get you swimming with vibrant coral, colorful fish, and the kind of underwater scenery that makes you wish you had gills. Bring a waterproof camera if you want — it’s worth it.

Snorkeling for Lobster (Seasonal: Aug 6 – Mar 31)
If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, we can snorkel for spiny lobster when they’re in season. It’s part treasure hunt, part underwater hide-and-seek, and 100% crazy addictive fun.
