At Reel Addiction “we specialize in catching, not just fishing.”
Reel Addiction Inshore Sport Fishing; Sarasota, Tampa Bay and Anna Maria Island. Our boat is trailered, so we will come to you. We offer inshore and nearshore trips; specializing in light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, and fly fishing. As well as Custom Shark fishing trips for brave adventurers!
Reel Addiction is a family-owned business that caters to everyone from entry-level fishermen to expert anglers. We provide an enjoyable and fun fishing experience. We love teaching you fishing techniques and assisting you with each catch. Kids are always put first on Reel Addiction’s trips! We can also accommodate up to 4 wheelchairs!
We target Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, Black Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, and more. You’re free to keep the fish you catch and take it home to enjoy delicious meals with your family or friends.
We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, fly fishing gear, live bait, lures, and licenses. At the end of the trip, we clean and bag your catch, if you decide to keep it. The only things you should bring are the food and drinks of your choice.
Your day will start on our brand new 25 c hawk saltwater fishing boat that can fit up to 6 guests. It’s powered by a 300 HP 2024Suzuki engine. Apart from a modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio navigation gear, it’s also equipped with a wireless trolling motor and a livewell.

What an amazing fishing trip we had! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. The weather was perfect, the waters were calm, and Captain John was top-notch. He was was incredibly knowledgeable, showing us the best spots to fish, and sharing tips that made all the difference. We caught a variety of fish, and the excitement of reeling in each one was unmatched.
The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, and the entire day was filled with laughter, great conversation, and moments of peace out on the water. Whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner, this trip is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a day on the water. We’ll definitely be booking again – can’t wait for the next adventure!

Great time with Captain Milton! He put us on the fish and moved around when spots weren’t producing a lot. Caught so many different types of fish including keeper sheephead, trout, and flounder! highly recommend

Captain Jon made our fishing trip a great day. He was knowledgeable of where to fish, gave instruction when needed and was very patient. Jon was also very personable and engaging. We caught about 25 fish in 4 hours and had an excellent time. Definitely would recommend Reel Addiction with Captain Jon in Sarasota.
