Wow!! I’ve been taking charters for over 30 years. Each one has its pros and cons until today! While looking for a charter for 2 people that turned into 4 people and what finally ended up being 6 people was a bit tiring. I was hosting this trip for 3 who never fished and one other, a woman I. Her mid 70’s who hasn’t gone in many years. My son and I go all the time and this was our extended family. Enough background… We found the place very easily and they had plenty of parking. Our captain want there but another mate greeted us and provided lots of inside information about what our day may gut be like. The captain showed up and we were off the dock in minutes, headed out to catch bait fish. The boat had plenty of room to sit comfortably for all of us. We motored out and very quickly were on bait fish. After motoring around a bit and making a few drifts we had plenty of bait. All 6 of us got into the action and were super excited. My rookie guests thought this was the what we were going to catch but soon found out this was just the beginning. We soon headed back in to start our hunt for strippers. It didn’t start off so great but our captain turned that around quickly. He took us to a few spots and we soon had our first bass. We were fighting the tide and a ton of pleasure boaters. He didn’t give up, we didn’t either. Soon after we started to pick a few up but action was limited still. Then came what ended up being our last spot of the day. Not because it was late but because we were on the fish. We landed a total of 9 strippers and had a few get away All throughout the day the Captain Zack was amazing. He got to know the various levels of his guest and paid attention to us accordingly. He obviously knows the area. Zack and I had many conversations about the fishing but also about my family and his. He was a super nice and knowledgeable captain. He was prepared for everything, including a major finger nail issue I sustained. He was super!!! Don’t waste any time looking elsewhere if this kind of fishing is what you are looking for. The boat, staff and ox course the captain all deserve recognition! We will be back!

We had initially planned a day of haddock fishing offshore, but took Zack's advice and stayed inshore due to choppy seas and reportedly poor recent luck with haddock. Glad we did! Zack's knowledge of the area plus the fish finder on his boat found us plenty of stripers. We each caught one to bring home (Zack filleted the fish prior to our departure), and several others that were caught and released. Zack patiently showed us (infrequent fishers) several tips and overall it was an outstanding experience. Would recommend.

We planned this trip for my son’s birthday. We had never done a charter before so weren’t sure what to expect. The entire trip was perfect. We were on Stripers early and when the bite calmed down the captain did everything he could to get us back on and was successful by the end of the trip. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions. The scenery was great while out on the fishing boat. The entire party caught there limit and then some. We look forward to booking a Haddock trip in the spring.

Our Captain certainly tried to keep us finding fish, we didn’t get as many as we would have liked, but definitely not for a lack of trying. Captain was friendy helpful and engaging. Cobia was clean and well appointed. It was a beautiful late September, we saw several whales as a bonus.

Even with rough seas that weren't in the forecast we had a great day on the water. Zach was able to pivot and provided a great experience for the whole family including our 3 yr old and our three teenagers. Got to watch some whales and caught some fish.
