Blue Ice Alaska Charters welcomes you aboard! Join a crew of friendly anglers and have a memorable day fishing the beautiful waters of Alaska. Our Captain will take you offshore 6am-4pm and you’ll together explore the richness this fishery has to offer. Pick a day you like and join the crew in Seward for a fishing trip you won’t soon forget!
You and the crew will be fishing for Primarily Halibut , Silver and King Salmon, Yellow Eye Rockfish, Black Rockfish, and Lingcod. Using heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, jig, and drift to catch your prey. The fish you is yours to take home and enjoy some lovely meals with your loved ones.
You should keep in mind that Halibut can’t be targeted on the captain’s 5-hour trips due to NOAA regulations.
Blue Ice supplies you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and drinks. Bring some snacks and your fishing licenses before coming aboard and you’ll be set for the fun.

The Best Charter!
10 Hour Trip Halibut Multispecies on July 6, 2025 • 1 adult
Wow, this fishing trip was the highlight of my Alaskan vacation! I can’t say enough good things about Captain Joe and Deck Hand Jake. These guys did a great job keeping our group on fish. We caught halibut, silver salmon, king salmon, rock fish, black bass, and some other interesting species. We saw whales, sea lions, puffins, and of course..them pesky seagulls! At one point a sea lion tried to steal my salmon! Our boat limited out early and we waved at the large group of boats on the way in. The Captain knew that making the little bit longer trek in rough seas was going to pay off. And that it did!

Captains Dave and Bub seemed to have just as much fun on this trip as we did. They made us feel like we were all on this adventure together. We cracked jokes, talked some trash and learned stuff. My parter and I shared the trip with 3 other people for a total of 5 passengers. We didn't feel crowded at all.
Catching fish and good weather are never a guarantee, but we were able to all catch our limit and the weather was fantastic. Captain Dave pushed our fishing time to the very last minute to ensure we had the best chance of reaching our limit. Captain Bub cleaned and fileted our fish on the way back through the choppy waters. Watching him jam out with his headphones on while the boat was slamming through waters was impressive to say the least. I can't say enough good things about this trip.

Amazing Fishing Charter with Breathtaking Views

This was my first time ever going charter fishing in Alaska, and this will definitely not be the last.
Captain Dave, and first mate/Deck Hand Peyton were top-notch. Made for an excellent experience and put us on top of fish all day!!
We had a great day on the water, enjoyed excellent weather, and caught Halibut, Silver Salmon and Rock Fish.
I would highly recommend this crew.
J-Dock was very easy to work with and made shipping my fish home to Virginia a breeze.

We had the best time fishing! Best time! We were leaving already and the captain said we owe him 20% tip of the cost of trip. The helper guy Jake I believe was so nice so nice! But the captain was not into it and than made you feel like crap and gave you attitude for not tipping him 20% of the whole trip. Made it sound like we owned it to him we tipped but wasn’t 20% so he made sure to let all of us know. Totally almost ruined the whole wonderful trip we had. Jake guy was amazing it’s the captain that ruined it! But he could’ve had a bad day! I’d still recommend this company

Had an incredible time fishing with Blue Ice Charters. Captain Dave knows exactly where to go, and Bub keeps the energy high and the lines tight. The boat was clean, the gear was solid. We had a slow halibut morning but the crew knew where tot and us next where we limited quickly. These guys are pros and made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go again!
