I wanted to give my kids a fun fishing experience in Florida and Robbie didnt disappoint. He was excellent with my 6 and 9 year old. We went first thing in the morning and they haven't stopped talking about how funny it was that a fish pooped on me or that they caught hundreds, probably a couple dozen, fish. Robbie was great to talk with, very good with my kids, and just very interested in making sure they had a good time. He even taught the kids a little about the fish they were catching. Cannot recommend Chances R Fishing enough. I will definitely contact next time we are in the area.

Coming to the area for vacation we decided to take a trip fishing, as we have had a lot of fun in other places doing the same thing. It was two parents and two boys 8 and 11. Short story is we had a great time and the kids loved it. Hit a bunch of spots, caught a bunch of fish, and learned about the area. Longer story.....We arrived a bit early and Robbie was getting the boat set up with the marina crew and we got moving a bit before 8AM. The first spot that we headed to already had a boat fishing so we motored towards the end of one of the islands. Got there and the current was strong and there was not much bite, lots of bait thieves. We didn't waste a lot of time there before moving where mom got the first fish of the day, but was still slow we went to a completely different area and fished some dock structure. Fishing the shaded structure was the ticket ad the kids started getting hit hard. They had a great time pulling in snappers, grunts, catfish, and even a string fighting jack. We hit a bunch of structure spots and Robbie was able to help the kids and guide us where to cast and when to target different spots. Our final spot for the day we got a speckled trout to finish the day out. Overall a great morning fishing!

This was a great trip, I booked this trip as a Christmas present, and it was an absolute hit! The Gulf was beautiful, and the bite was on from the start. I was very impressed by Robbie’s knowledge of the water and fishing strategies. His boat was very clean, and we always felt safe. We targeted trout and caught a few other species; we had our limit very quickly. We are very excited to book again in the spring!

We decided to book with Captain Robbie after all the great reviews. My husband took our boys ages 12 and 7 and they are still talking about the fun we had. Captain Robbie gave us great options for the trip to keep the kids entertained. We ended up doing a split trip with half fishing, half scalloping it was an absolute blast ! Captain Robbie kept us laughing and in the good spots. We will definitely book with him again when we are back in town. As a plus the scallops made a delicious dinner!

We lived in Tampa 25 years and have used several fishing guides over the years but I can tell you that Robert Denbo is one of the best guides I’ve ever used. No exaggeration. His mission is to put you on fish and with his vast knowledge of the area and techniques, you are sure to get your money’s worth. We had an Inshore Grand Slam today (Snook, Reds, Trout) which is driven by multiple conditions but his skill, knowledge and persistence was undoubtedly a major contributing factor in our success. There are many guides to choose from but if you want a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced guide, I highly recommend Robert Denbo.
