Come aboard with Capt. Bennett, whose main priority is to get you on fish. You have the option of morning or afternoon, where you'll be fishing for Redfish, Tripletail, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 25' Blackjack that can safely take up to 4 anglers. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Half Day Morning on May 27, 2023 • 3 adults
We had a great time out on the water with Captain Bennett. While it was a poor day for fishing by Bennett’s standards, Bennett took us around to his best spots doing everything he could to help us catch from fish. We ended up catching a few including Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and surprisingly a bass! In the downtime between bites he shared his knowledge on the fishing rods and reels he uses and recommends for those switching over to do more saltwater fishing. I plan to take his advice and order a few before my next trip down. I definitely plan to book with Canton Bay Charters the next time I am in the area.

First off he was more than accommodating. The fish early morning were not cooperating so we went into deeper water. We were on fish then and they didn’t stop. We caught mangrove snappers, a shark and a few other species. We decided to go back to look for slot reds. On our way back to Magnolia river, he spotted a triple tail under a crab trap bouy. We hooked up and that was my first triple tail. It was a great trip

Bennett was on time had us on bull reds in short order. Caught two a 30 & 35 pounder. We then went for eating fish with little luck. Hung two and played them for several minutes unfortunately we didn’t get to see what the monsters were! Great trip for my 86th birthday. Hope we can do it again gin cooler weather!
