Kapt. Todd is gespecialiseerd in het vissen in de Lower Keys op haaien en tarpon.
Afhankelijk van het seizoen kun je Paardmakreel, Stierhaai, Mutton Snapper, Zwartpunthaai, Grijze Zeebaars, Verpleegsterhaai, Grote Barracuda, Tarpon, Knorvis, Kaphamerhaai en tal van andere getande wezens aan de haak slaan.
Tijdens deze trips kun je verwachten haaien en tarpon te vangen, en ook andere vissen binnen te halen.
Het vaartuig is een 22' Pathfinder Tournament Edition volledig uitgerust om te vissen.
De capaciteit is TOT 4 passagiers.
Het is volledig uitgerust met een koelbox, ijs, en visvergunningen zijn inbegrepen.
De charterboot dekt je visvergunning, dus het enige wat je hoeft te doen is klaar zijn voor een goede tijd! Houd er rekening mee dat sommige soorten speciale regels of beperkte seizoenen kunnen hebben. Vraag het gewoon en je schipper kan je meer vertellen.
Een paar items om mee te nemen zijn een zonnebril, flessenwater en zonnebrandcrème (bij voorkeur geen spray). Als je andere drankjes wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, vermijd alleen sterke drank en glazen flessen.

Great Day on the Water!!

Recently my wife and I booked a fishing trip with Captain Todd. I’ve been out on several trips with different Captains around Florida over the years. This trip was great in many different ways. Captain Todd had done his homework. We caught some Mutton, Lane, Mangrove and Yellow Tail Snapper and also caught and successfully released a Goliath Grouper. I know the names of these fish because of Captain Todd’s knowledge. There was also the excitement of hooking and releasing a Nurse Shark. I enjoy battling with fish even if I don’t always keep them. But I also enjoy eating them. I’m writing this after just finishing a great meal of Mutton Snapper. We both had a great time, even though my wife doesn’t fish, Captain Todd made sure she had a comfortable place to sit, read and watch a sunset in the front of the boat. We both look forward to going with him again.

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the water with Captain Todd! From the moment we left the dock, it was clear we were in great hands. His knowledge of fishing, local waters, and techniques is outstanding, and he took the time to explain what we were doing and why — which made the experience even better.
The action did not disappoint! We caught a big nurse shark, some mutton snapper, some lane snapper, some yellow snapper, some mango snapper and two sting rays— what a thrill! Captain Todd knew exactly where to go and how to adjust our approach to keep the bites coming.
Beyond the great fishing, the entire trip was relaxed, fun, and professional. Captain Todd made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. If you’re looking for a memorable fishing charter with someone who truly knows his craft, this is it. We can’t wait to book again! 🎣

Talking Dog with Capt Todd was on point with his guidance, follow through and knowledge of the areas for the target fish. He’s easy to talk to with good vibes and very accommodating/patient with all skill levels. We caught our baitfish and then hit the spot for some shark fishing… he knew the timing for their activity and sure enough we got hits and managed to catch Black tips and Sharp Nose sharks! My Boys had a blast with the experience! Would definitely do again - Much appreciated Capt!!

I had an unforgettable experience fishing with Capt. Todd at Talking Dog Charters in Key West! From the moment I stepped on the boat, Capt. Todd was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and the species we were targeting. His passion for what he does really shows, and he made the entire trip both exciting and comfortable.
The highlight of the day? I caught a massive Goliath Grouper, several nice Snapper and my personal best Bull Shark, an absolute thrill! Capt. Todd knew exactly where to go and how to put me on the fish. His guidance and expertise made all the difference.
If you’re heading to Key West and want an amazing fishing experience with a top-tier captain, Talking Dog Charters is the way to go. I'll definitely be booking with Capt. Todd again!

A Goliath Day!

Captain Todd was fantastic! He catered to all of our needs and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We were targeting Goliath Grouper, of which we caught several (including a very large one Todd had named “Walter”) and landed one. We landed several large Lemon Sharks, which were fun to bring in. We would definitely recommend booking this trip with Captain Todd again!
