Reel Bolivar Fishing Guide organiseert hengeltochten vanuit Bolivar Peninsula en nodigt u uit om in stijl kennis te maken met de lokale visserij.
Kapitein Mark streeft ernaar om elke trip aan te passen aan uw specifieke wensen, dus laat hem weten wat u zoekt! Afhankelijk van de trip en de vissoorten, zult u technieken gebruiken zoals bodemvissen, driftvissen, jiggen en poppen. U kunt kiezen voor trips van 4 tot 8 uur, waarbij u meestal vist op Redfish, Platvis, Zwarte Drum, Speckled Trout, Snapper en Tripletail, afhankelijk van het weer en de tijd van het jaar.
Uw avontuur begint aan boord van een 7,6 meter lange Haynie boot met plaats voor maximaal 5 hengelaars. De boot is uitgerust met een draadloze trollingmotor. Hengels, molens en eindmateriaal zijn inbegrepen in de prijs van uw trip. Vergeet niet om voor de trip een visvergunning te kopen!
De prijs van een trip is exclusief aas, dus neem vooraf contact op met de kapitein over uw opties. U mag alles houden wat u vangt, zolang dit wettelijk toegestaan is.
We zitten niet stil om met dood aas op de bodem te vissen. We werpen de hele tijd. Nog nooit met een molen geworpen? Geen probleem, zolang u bereid bent te luisteren en het te proberen. U zult het grootste deel van de tijd staand vissen. Het is vergelijkbaar met zoutwater baarsvissen.

Unforgettable Family Fishing Experience with Captain Mark!

Captain Mark at Reel Bolivar Fishing gave my family a perfect day on the water. He was incredible with my two young boys (5 and 2), keeping them engaged, smiling, and safe the entire trip — no small feat! This was their very first fishing experience, and thanks to Captain Mark, it couldn’t have gone better.
We landed some beautiful speckled trout, and I had the chance to really fish while also soaking in special moments with my boys. Captain Mark knew exactly where to go — reading the tides, the terrain, and never letting up until we found where the fish were biting. His experience and determination made all the difference.
The bonus? His friendly boat dog who instantly won over the kids.
This trip gave us memories we’ll never forget, and we absolutely plan to be back on that boat again. I can’t imagine fishing Bolivar with anyone else.

Mark was a great guide for our fishing trip. He knows the area and put us on the fish. Caught our limits of red and spotted trout. Boat, gear, and everything was nice and ready to go. It’s an active day you are casting non stop! Will be doing this again.

Hardest working Guide ever!
Half Day Trip – East Galveston Bay on October 2, 2025 • 2 adults
Today went fishing with Guide - Mark Allen. It was a slow bite but through Mark’s tenacity we were able to catch some nice Redfish. Mark is very knowledgeable and tremendous to fish with. We will look him up on our next fishing trip. Highly Recommend Mark.

These two days of fishing was among the best that I’ve ever had! I’m 72 and have fished with many guides among the Texas Gulf Coast and Mark, by for, rates among the very best! I also actually learned so much about fishing techniques that I never knew - he is a great coach! We also were glad he brought along his yellow lab Annie who gave us luck and enjoyment! I plan to book Mark again, no doubt.
