Based out of Port Douglas, AKULA Sportfishing is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

Come on aboard with AKULA, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging and popping based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of either 4 hours, 6 hours or 8 hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Coral Trout, Cobia, Sweetlip, Mackerel, Queenfish, Trevally, Red Emperor and Nannygai, plus much more!

Your boat for the day will be a 28' Offshore Marine Master catamaran that fits up to 10 anglers at any one time, however we choose to cap it at 8. Please speak with us if your group size is over 8 passengers. Minimum age is 10 years old for inner reef and Minimum age is 12 years old for offshore.

Use of rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

You'll be able to keep any legal species caught on private charters.

The boat will be supplied with non alcoholic drinks, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
