These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, King Mackerel, and more. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You're free to keep any fish you catch - up to 20 lbs - provided they're within size and bag limits.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 31' Offshore sport fishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials, including a toilet on board for your convenience. It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, drinks, and snacks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish and make the most of your trip. A 10%–20% tip at the end of the day is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

First time deep sea anglers.
Unsure of what we were getting into - we both downed our Dramamine and set sail.
Captain Galvin and his deckhand did not disappoint. We quickly realized that it was not just about dropping the line and hoping for the best. Focused on the task of fulfilling our dream of a bullhead mahi-mahi, Galvin spent a lot of time analyzing the water/surroundings, and there was no doubt when he found the right place. Birds diving for the flying fish were spotted a mile away. Full throttle into the waves, a couple of hooks in the water, and soon our first mahi-mahi was landed. A fantastic specimen - but not a bullhead…
The boat handled rough seas excellently, and that made us comfortable going further out to search more. Where many probably had given up and called it a day, Galvin continued. Finally, he spotted birds and fish in pure symphony again. Full throttle - and several hooks struck at once. Lots of rotation drills, and we pulled up six more mahi-mahi - one of which was a bullhead!!!
Job well done!
Back to the harbor. Slightly sunburned - but worth it!

Captain Gavin took very good care of my 11 year old son and me. We don’t have much experience ocean fishing and he showed us everything we needed to know. Caught grouper, yellowtail snapper, barracuda, and he even showed us the secret to catching tarpon at the dock, after filleting our catch. Beautiful day on the ocean!

Great experience caught 3 barracuda and 1 wahoo. Captain is very attentive and knows what he is talking about. I imagine our captain put us on every fish that was possible to catch given the conditions

Half Day Trip with Captain Galvin and Crew

Will absolutely be going back to Captain Galvin again. He was proactive and reached out the week before asking what we wanted to fish for and provided updates on the conditions and realistic possibilities. Told him we wanted to troll for a big bite and if that didn't happen, we would like to do some deep dropping for groupers and whatever else bites. Captain Galvin did exactly that and more. We got 2 hits trolling and decided it was time to move in for deep dropping and we absolutely hammered them. The first mate was fantastic with my two friends who had never fished before and they are now hooked.
Thank you again Captain and Crew. See you next year!
