Running angling trips out of Isla Mujeres, Isla Girl – Sport Fishing invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Capt. Diego Armando will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, handline, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Sailfish, Dolphin, Barracuda, Marlin, Amberjack, and Bonito, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
You’ll be fishing from a 36’ Hatteras boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet, an AC, an ice box, and a fighting chair.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.
The catch you keep will be shared with the crew following the trip, depending on the species. Please get in touch with the captain if you have any questions.
Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.
There will be complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.

Captain and crew were amazing. Super friendly, very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. The boat was immaculate and the gear was new and well maintained. The captain and crew worked their tails off the entire trip. The fishing was stellar as Captain and crew put us on mahi, bonito, barracuda and multiple sail fish ! We had an amazing trip. Coming from a charter captain myself in the U.S., I would highly recommend the Isla Girl. Great time, amazing crew, epic fishing !

We went out for a four hour offshore trip. Pretty heavy waves but the captain and crew put us on some bonito right away. We hooked into and landed a nice sailfish shortly after a few bonitos. The captain and crew were great even though we had to cut our trip short due to sickness by one of our members. They were very understanding and brought us back and cleaned our bonito for us. Would definitely book with Isla Girl again and make sure our members were prepared for bigger seas!

First time deep sea fishing - great experience

This was our first time deep sea fishing - it was amazing to travel an hour or so away from the island and learn about the different types of fish and what attracts them. My boys had a blast and a good workout reeling in 10 or so fish. The captain/crew were fun and even kept us out longer than planned as the fish weren’t biting at first. For our first experience we give it 10/10
