Vanuit Waukegan is Abby Fishing Charters uw ticket naar een onvergetelijke tijd op het water.
Schipper Andy streeft ernaar elke trip op maat te maken voor uw specifieke wensen, dus laat hem weten waar u op uit bent! U kunt verwachten dat u de trollentechniek zult gebruiken tijdens uw avontuur. U kunt rekenen op trips van 5 tot 6 uur, waarbij u meestal op jacht gaat naar Amerikaanse Meerforel, Regenboogforel, Forel en Zalm, afhankelijk van het weer en de tijd van het jaar.
Uw visavontuur begint op een 34' Trojan boot die veilig tot 6 vissers kan meenemen. U mag meenemen wat u wilt eten en drinken. En vergeet niet een koelbox mee te nemen om de mooie filets mee naar huis te nemen.
Alle benodigde visuitrusting is inbegrepen in de prijs van uw trip. Het enige wat u hoeft te doen is deze zo goed mogelijk te gebruiken. Zorg ervoor dat u van tevoren een geldige visvergunning koopt.
U mag alle legale soorten die tijdens de trip worden gevangen houden.
Kinderen zijn welkom aan boord, dus u kunt de kleintjes vroeg laten beginnen.

Beyond amazing Captain and Crew. Captain Andy and First Mate Jim were awesome! My daughter and friend were first timers and Capt Andy and First Mate Jim made it memorable for them. I hadn't been salmon fishing since before covid and gave Captain Andy a try and I made the right choice! They were beyond entertaining and super knowledgeable about the waters they are fishing, all the way down to the "blueberry muffin" lure.
I will definitely be using Abby Fishing Charter again!

This was such a great adventure for us first-timers on a fishing boat! Captain Andy and co-captain Scott were so helpful and educational. We learned technique, about fishing in the great lakes, types of fish, and how fish are replenished. It was a good day for us and we took home a great haul. The boat is clean and well equipped, and Andy cleans and fillets all the fish. We can't wait to do it again in 2026!

I chartered a 6 hour boat with 5 of my friends (all in our late 20s) with Captain Andy and it was a great experience.
Andy was very responsive in setting up our trip and worked with us to understand what we were looking to catch to ensure we had a great experience He is knowledgeable about where to fish and a pleasure to charter a trip with. He is very easy to talk to, and works hard to ensure you catch as much fish as you can while having a great time. I would recommend if you are looking for a fun, laid back day on the lake.

Half Day Trip With Captain Andy on the Abigail - Memorial Day 2025
5 Hour Trip (AM) MAX 6, MAY-JUNE 18'' op May 26, 2025
Captain Andy found the fish when not many boats were catching the volume that we caught. 15 Coho and 1 Steelhead - 3-6 lb range. Not many big ones but hopefully next time. Andy was flexible with timing of the trip. We were heading from shore by 5 a.m. so we could be back to shore by 10 a.m. and make it to the Cubs game. Thanks and looking forward to next time.
