Reel Cool Charters Llc runs angling trips out of Chester and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. Michael will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Bass, Spanish Mackerel, Perch, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Redfish, depending on the season and conditions of the day.

Your boat for the day will be a 25’ Pro-Line that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet and an ice box.

The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it.

You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip, but the seasonal Striped Bass trips are strictly catch-and-release.

Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

Captain Cool was cool under pressure!!!

Captain Michael Cool made this adventure such a wonderful experience. Weather was perfect, unfortunately the fish was not biting. Captain Cool used his vast knowledge and expertise with the help of his colleagues to find the perfect fishing spot so that our group left with a bounty full of fish at the last hour. 10 out of 10 rating. Highly recommended!!!

January fishing trip

Chesapeake bay 6 Hour Trip on January 4, 2024

Nice boat that was a fishing machine. Wasn’t scared to get her dirty or mess anything up as the Capt told me she was meant for fishing. Which it very well did just that. Great trip. Capt was easy to get along with and made it enjoyable. Put me first and got me on the fish. Wish we could’ve put him on one but all good. Great time. Thanks man!

Beautiful Day of Fishing on the Bay

Chesapeake bay 6 Hour Trip on August 19, 2023

Captain Mike was great and made the entire charter fun and enjoyable for everyone. Captain Mike knew exactly where to go to hit fish. We caught our limit for the day of Rockfish and it would be hard to find a Captain more knowledgeable about the Bay. It was such an beautiful experience on the bay! We had so much fun and are already looking at dates for return trips! If you are thinking about booking a trip, do it. You won’t be disappointed.
