His extremely large and loyal circle of repeat customers would not hesitate to agree that his trips are worth every penny.
The boats belonging to Lost Bay Guide Service have the best and most up to date tools for the job. The new 24’ Skeeter is equipped with Lowrance HDS touch screen electronics as well as a GPS and VHF radio to assist the captain with putting you on fish.
Whether you’re planning to fish inshore or offshore, this boat will provide a comfortable, dry ride. All fishing equipment will be provided on the trip and consists of Star and Key Largo custom spinning rods with Shimano Stradic reels and Skeet Reese casting rods with Johnny Morris Signature series reels.
Inshore trips will involve fishing for Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Flounder, Mackerel, and Grouper. Capt. Bill covers the area from Pensacola, Florida, to Mobile Bay, Alabama and always keeps a close eye on where the fish are biting in the area. Offshore charters travel up to nine miles out to target Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mackerel, and Grouper.
Capt. Bill is an IGFA certified captain who is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association and the Orange Beach Fishing Association. He has fished professionally on the IFA Redfish Tour, using the extensive knowledge that he has acquired over 25 years fishing in the area.
With two boys of his own, Capt. Bill is passionate about teaching young anglers how to get the most out of each fishing trip. Don’t hesitate to bring your kids with you and make some amazing new family memories!

Great captain who knows the fish!

We had a great day with Jake and Logan. Jake knows how to ask the best questions to find out what we wanted, which for us was a few eating fish and some fun catching bigger fish. Jake put us right on some red snapper that were fun to catch, and then we waited patiently for the red fish. It was an interesting experience with lots of private boats waiting for the same moment we were: the red fish coming up to the surface. Jake saw them before anyone else and got us right where we needed to be! We both had fun getting those big fish in. Jake knows these fish and could consistently predict where they were going to appear next. We highly recommend Jake and this service. Thanks for the great day, Jake and Logan!

Great first experience!

We had a great first-time fishing trip with Captain Jonathan and Bobby! My 13-year-old wanted to catch a shark, and they made it happen—she reeled in four small ones and had the best time. Both guys were super patient, helpful, and made the experience fun for all of us.
We only caught one fish this time, but that’s just how it goes sometimes, and we’re already hoping to book again with the same crew to go after some bigger sharks next time!
One tip for future guests: it’s better to pay the captain directly instead of paying everything (including tip) through the app—I didn’t realize that and felt bad when I had to show proof of payment.
Overall, great trip and highly recommend Captain Jonathan and Bobby for a fun day on the water!

We had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Captain Clay! He was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters. We felt completely safe and confident in his hands, which was especially important for a trip that included shark fishing.
Captain Clay is a true pro—he knew exactly where to find the fish. We reeled in an impressive variety, including red snapper and a lizard fish, but the real highlight was the sharks! We were thrilled to catch a hammerhead and a blacktip shark.
To top it all off, Captain Clay expertly processed the blacktip shark for us to take home, and we even got to keep the jaw as a souvenir. We can’t recommend Captain Clay enough for a fun, safe, and exciting fishing trip!

I had a great time! Captain Johnathan and Mate Bobby were outstanding. I wanted to catch fish and learn about inshore fishing on the Gulf Coast. Captain Johnathan went above and beyond to teach me as much as possible about techniques, currents, tides, etc., all while I was catching Reds and Spanish Mackerel. Both were my kind of guys. Highly recommended. Can't wait to get back!

Familiar but Different

Going into the trip me and my son did not know what to expect, meeting the guider was amazing. They made us feel welcomed showing their hospitality, helped us get into the boat and we got started. My son was familiar with the type of pole, but instead of them getting annoyed they offered to teach him and by the end of the trip he had learned. When catching the fish the tour guide was calm and was honestly a great guy to be around. We fished in Arkansas where we’re from, but deep sea fishing was different experience I would recommend to anyone.
